looking down and rubbing the back of his neck with this hand as his heart beat began to slow down.

Confident no one saw the knife he looked to Mr.Ault, only to shrink back when he met angery eyes, burning with hostility.

Mr. Ault cleared his throat drawing everyones attention, the class sezing in its mischef. "Gareth! We will have no texting in class" the teacher stated his deep voice vibrating throuhout the class room as he walked towards Gareth. Stopping in front he stuck out his hand.

"Now Gareth, hand over your phone."

Chapter 3: Phone

Gareth swallowed, sweat trickling down his neck. Not way out he was with world closing around the boy; no way out. All thoughts stopping his mind going blank as he desperately reached for the knife in his desk-

Loud music blasted through the room, Gareth Jumped in surprise. The other students giggles and others looked away in pity. 'T-that's my ringtone!' Eyes wide in surprise he fished out his phone from this back pocket. 'Wait, I thought I'd left my phone at Ryans. Since when did...?' At a loss he gapes at the small touch phone.

Mr. Ault took that moment to swipe it, causing Gareth to refocus on the teacher. Looking down the middle aged man touched the screen stopping the loud music. Hold up the phone, he turned walking back towards the white board simply stating "Detention. Today at lunch, and you'll get this at the end of the year."

Not really caring Gareth ushered a "Yes sir."

"Now, on with class. We will be having no more interruptions". Mr.Ault said sure of himself.

Chapter 4: Hallways

Class quickly passed, relief flooding the boy's system as he still held into his school books. Thoughts kept rushing back to the potentially dangerous weapon hidden in the back on his jeans. Noise of other students echoed throughout the corridor. Carefree laughter and stressful whispers meshed together, creating a sickly sweet energy. Swallowing he gathered his thoughts and moved through the moving mass of his peers. Luckily, his locker wasn't all that far away, grouped together with the other sophomores they were the closest to the gym; Gareths next class. With one final nudge, he was freed from the mob now standing and in front of his locker. 'I need to get rid of this knife! And, having already just escaped suspension I'm not about to get into anymore trouble.'

5-16-27.

Opening his locker he shoved the books into the small enclosure. Pausing, he looked to the side, Smiling when he saw everyone already busy with their own lives. When he reached into his pants pocket grabbing for the knife only to see a familiar Chicago cubs t-shirt moving towards him. Panicked Gareth spun around hurriedly slamming the locker shut. Standing there with clenched fist he noticed just how sweaty his palms were. Taking a few deep breaths the boy braced myself before turning back to look up at his friend.

"Gareth! Turns out were having PE inside today, it's gonna be dodge ball! I'm gonna blow them away too! I mean I've been practicing my catching and I don't know, maybe I could apply it to this!" Estatic, Ryan rambled on about gym class already in this shorts. That's when the school bell rang throughout the school alerting the students of the start of their next class. Ryan grinned and turned walking to the Gym room, Gareth following from behind with the knife suddenly feeling 100 pound heavier in the boys jean pocket.

Classes seemed to crawl on as timed ticked slowly almost painfully so. Gareth was jumpy all day, and tried to avoid talking when it wasn't necessary. it was  7th period study hall when Ryan confronted the boy by his locker.
