The man grabbed her hands as they stood in the moonlight. “Give me my name.” He said before Mae looked at the text box. “Your name is Xander Grimsbane.” Mae said before Xander held her from behind as he nuzzled her. “Run away with me, Mae.” Xander said as the pounding got louder. “I can’t. Will we meet again?” Mae said as she turned to look at Xander. “Of course, my lovely Mae.” Xander said before he left the room and then Leon and Russell ran into the room.
“Mae! Mae. Oh thank goodness.” Leon said as he ran to Mae and hugged her. “At least you're alright.” Leon said as Mae looked out the window. “What are you looking at?” Russell asked as he also looked out the window. “Not any of your business.” Mae said as they both looked at her shocked. “Um, ok then.” Russell said as he turned away and then they sat at the table. “Let’s eat.” Leon said as he picked up his fork and they all started to eat. “I was thinking I could stay here and you two could go back to the real world.” Mae said, making Leon and Russell choke on their food. Leon and Russell would expect Russel to say that but they didn’t expect Mae to say it. “But I want to stay here.” Russell said as he wiped his face with a napkin. “I want to stay here, too. But we can’t both stay.” Mae said as Leon looked at her confused. “Nothing baby.” Mae said as she stood up and left to go to the bathroom. Mae sighed and looked next to her.
She grabbed the pistol that appeared next to her and walked to Leon and Russel. “Hey, Mae. Whatcha got behind your back?” Leon asked before Mae smiled and shot both Leon and Russel. Mae watched as Leon’s and Russell’s lifeless bodies fell to the ground. “Again I will stay here and you two will leave.” Mae said as she looked up. She started to laugh as her eyes glowed bright red.
