As they journeyed over to Britney’s house, they stopped to buy some barbecued wings and macaroni pie since the other three were sleeping over. “You guys are sleeping over?” Asia asked. “Yes!” they all said. “Actually we now planned it while you were speaking on the phone with your mother.” Britney said. “Yeah, Selena, you and I already have clothes over by Britney; we just need to call our moms to let them know.” Chelsie said. “Are you staying too?” Selena asked Asia. “I don’t know, I’ll have to ask my mom, let me call her right now!” Asia replied. The girls agreed and also took out their phones to call their mothers. After about two minutes, all three girls said that their mothers allowed them to stay but they are going to contact Britney’s mom first to make sure it’s alright. As they got to Britney’s place Britney’s, mother, Mrs. Fedrickson, greeted the girls heartily and said, “Your mothers contacted me to make sure if it’s ok for you three to stay overnight just as Britney requested, and I said it was alright” she continued, “Asia I heard that you have a date tonight” “Yes Mrs. Fedrickson!” Asia said. “Oh do you need a lift to come home? And I’ve also heard from your mother that she doesn’t want you out any later than 10:00pm so I would pick you up around 9:45pm at the Roses&Kisses restaurant right?” Mrs. Fedrickson said. “Yes, Oh that would be lovely, Thanks so much” Asia said. Looking at the wall clock Asia saw it was 7:30pm. As soon as the other girls recognized this too, all four of them rushed to Britney’s bedroom. They shoved Asia behind the changing blind so she could change. Selena got out her dress that was neatly set on the bed. Britney got out her shoes and Chelsie helped her to the bathroom door and shoved her in. After about three minutes, Asia ran into Britney’s bedroom and ran behind the changing blinds. Selena got up and handed her the dress and undies over the blind. A minute after, Asia came out fully dressed in her dress and socks. She went and sat on the bed to put on her shoes. Britney sat behind her and unplaited her hair from the two ponytails it was in. She quickly, but neatly combed and brushed Asia’s long red hair out into one neat ponytail. Chelsie sat on the floor watching them. “Chelsie, make yourself useful and hand me the headband on the dresser.” Britney blurted. Chelsie pelted the headband across to Britney. “Getting up from the bed, Asia asked, “How do I look?” Selena and Britney said she looked Fabulous while Chelsie said that the headband made her look girly. As Asia picked up a bottle of body spray and sprayed it all over herself the door went ‘Ding dong.’ All four girls rushed out into the living room. Chelsie, Britney and Selena bid Asia goodbye and good luck, as Asia opened the door and stepped outside. “Good afternoon” said Stephen. Asia smiled and said, “Good afternoon. “Um it’s totally rude of me before, but I didn’t catch your name.” Stephen interrupted. “Oh my name is Asia and it’s not a problem that you didn’t catch my name before.” Asia said. “Shall we go Asia?” Stephen said. “Yes!” she replied. When they got there, a waitress humbly escorted them to a table. Stephen pulled out the chair for Asia as she sat and said thank you, she observed how even more handsome he looked in his black tuxedo. As they both were seated, Stephen couldn’t help but looking at how pretty Asia was. “So? How are you Asia?” he said. Asia giggled. “I’m fine! And you?” she asked. “Same” he said. There was silence between them for a moment. “So how old are you Stephen?” she asked. “I’m fifteen” he replied. “No way, me too!” she burst. They both smiled. “So what do you enjoy doing?” Stephen asked. In his mind he was expecting to hear girly things, but he knew it was the polite thing to do, especially since he wanted to get to know her. “Well, I like bike riding, hikes, mountain climbing, camping, skateboarding, video games swimming, fishing, art and hanging out with my best friends.” Asia replied. Stephen sat there in shock. “I expected to hear girly things like makeup, shopping, hair doing!” he admitted. “Well I kinda like shopping and besides all those stuff are girly, what benefits would u get out of doing them?” Asia replied. Stephen smiled. “And you?” Asia asked. “I like all those stuff you mentioned just now including wrestling, basketball and football.” He admitted. “Oh my gosh!” Asia burst. “One of my best friends, Chelsie, is going to join the football team! I agreed with her, but the other two found that it was to boyish!” “Wait, what school do you go to?” Stephen asked. “Simmons high school, you?” she asked. “No way, I go there too!” he replied. “Really? But I never actually saw you!” Asia replied. “Actually I’ve seen you many times, I’ve just never been brave enough to see you, and I’ve always sat at the back of the class.” Stephen replied. “Do you take all the classes?” Asia asked. “Yes, except for Geography and Spanish.” He replied. “Um, should we order?” Asia interrupted. Stephen smiled. “You read my mind” he said. Picking up the menu, Stephen asks Asia what she would like. Asia was shocked. “What are you trying to say?” she said. “I’m asking what you’d like to have, I’ll pay don’t worry.” Stephen replied. Asia was surprised. “Oh no, no, no! You can’t pay for me! I have money of my own I can pay, no need to waste it on me, you need it, after all you’ve worked hard for it and you shouldn’t waste it on someone who is almost a complete stranger to you.
