"Since I have taken a few days off, how about we go to the mall to do some shopping for the necessaries like the baby product and other things, and we can go shopping for their clothes and other things when we find out about their gender?." he asks me.

 

"Sure, but can we eat something first? I am hungry," I said to him while pouting at him.

 

"But, you had your breakfast just an hour ago," Cole said, looking shocked at me.

 

"Don't look at me like that, Cole. I was eating for three people now. Am I not allowed to eat food now when I am hungry?" I ask while feeling my eyes with tears.

 

"No, no, thats not what I mean by it. I was just worried about your health. I don't want you to get a stomach ache because of eating so much. Anyway, what do you want to eat?" He asks me.

 

"Nutella and Cheeses sandwich," I said while wiping tears from my face.

 

"Okay, but first, let's go to our room. You must be tired after walking so much. I will tell Omega to bring it to your room," Cole said and led me to our room. After some time, Omega comes with a food tray containing a sandwich and a fruit salad mixed with the yogurt. After finishing my food, I get back to sleep, and this time Cole also joins me in bed.

 

After some hours, mom comes to wake us up for lunch, and we all go to the dining room to have lunch. After lunch, we change our clothes and walk to the garage, and then I remember that we don't have a list of the things we need and want to buy for the kids.

 

"Cole, we forget to prepare the list for the things we need and wanted to buy for babies," I said while panicking.

 

"Hey, relax, I have a list that mom prepared for shopping when she was pregnant for Stella and me, besides if we can come and buy it when we come to shopping again when we find out the babies gender," he said, and I nodded my head and then helped me to get inside the car. I was sitting in my room reading a book regarding parenting when I heard a knock on the door.

 

"Nikki, someone special has come to visit you," Cole said while peeking inside the room.

 

"Who?" I ask while looking at him. He opens the door and moves aside so that I can see the person standing behind him.

 

"OH MY GOSH, ALISHA," I yelled in surprise and hurried to get up to greet my best friend.

 

"Easy there, woman," Cole shouted and rushed to help me to get out from the bed. I sign her to come closer and embrace her in a tight hug. Or should I say tried to hug her? But my big bump comes between us. She laughs and hugs me from the side.

 

"I missed you so much. I have so many things to share with you. But first thing first, I have something to give to you," Alisha said and took out a red rectangle box from her purse and handed it over to me. I open the box to see a beautiful heart-shaped red pendant with a gold chain.

 

"When I went shopping with Ryan and saw it in a Jewelry shop, I knew that it would be a perfect gift for you. Do you like it?" Alisha asks while smiling at me.

 

"I love it," I said and engulfed her in a tight hug.

 

"I am glad that you like it," Alisha said while hugging me back.

 

"By the way, did something happen? You look different today and sell different too. It also looks like you have gained some weight, too," I ask after breaking the hug.

 

"Well, Ryan turned me into a vampire," Alisha said while blushing and looking away from me.

 

"And!!" I probed her to say more.

 

"And I am pregnant," Alisha said while hiding her face in her hands.

 

"O.M.G, Alisha, Congrats, How long were you pregnant? Did Ryan know about it? Did you know the gender of the baby? When are you due?" I ask her excitedly.

 

"Relax, Nikki, how am I going to answer you if you ask so many questions at the same time. I am 2 weeks pregnant, and yes, Ryan knows that I am pregnant. And I don't know the gender of the baby. We decided to keep it a surprise until it comes into this world, we will love it no matter what its gender is, and we don't know my due date yet," Alisha said while smiling at me.

 

"Do you find the gender of the twins yet?" Alisha asks me.

 

"Not yet; the doctor said that we will find the gender of the baby after three weeks," I said to her.

 

I guide her to the balcony of my room and order Omega to bring some snacks for us while Cole and Ryan go to Cole's study room to discuss some matters. We enjoy the swing and catch up with each other, talking about all the places she and Ryan have visited on their honeymoon and what happens here in their absence. Then I showed her the nursery room that Cole and I had prepared for the twins.

 

"Hey, Alisha, I thought that since we are pregnant at the same time, how about we have a baby shower together? That way, we will have lots of fun, and it will also improve relationships between our people because that way they get a chance to mingle with each other after that war." I ask her.

 

"It's a good idea, but I don't think either of our palaces is a good place to hold a baby shower because I don't think vampires feel comfortable or prefer to cross your territory even though it is for a good reason. And the same goes for werewolves for entering our territory," Alisha said while looking deep in thoughts.

 

"Then how about we organize it at Alice Palace? Since it is a place where both vampire and werewolf have sworn their alliances with each other and where all the council members of alliances live, it will be comfortable for both parties," Cole suggested while entering the nursery room.

 

"Sorry guys, we happened to hear your conversation while coming to find you," Ryan said, entering the room with Cole. 

 

"It's alright, but I don't think it is the right place. It's okay to hold important meetings and functions there, but it's not appropriate to use that place for private function like this," I said as Cole helped me sit on the couch and take a seat on the bean bag.

 

"I think I agree with Nikki in this matter," Ryan said to us.

 

"Then how about the new resort open in the town near the Alice Palace? It didn't come in any of our territories, and it's also near the town. If we need to get something from outside, we can easily access it." Alisha suggested to her.

 

"I think it's a good idea, so when should we organize it?" Cole asks us.

 

"I think next month last week would do. What about you guys?" I ask while looking at my friend.

 

"Count me in," Alisha said with a big smile on her face. We talk about other things until Omega informs us that the lunch is ready. At lunch, we told our idea of having a baby shower with Alisha, and fortunately, our parents didn't raise any objection regarding it. 

 

After lunch, we discuss what we want in our shower until Alisha, and I feel tired and sleepy. Then Cole guided them to the guest room so that both of them could get some rest while I decided to take a nap.

 

I wake up after 2 hours, get fresh, and have some tea and snacks with Alisha until something comes up and Ryan and Alisha leave for their palace. After sending them off, I did some work regarding the magic academy and fell asleep after having dinner.

 

The next day I get up and walk to the washroom. When I looked in the mirror after washing my face, I saw that the mark on my forehead is disappeared. I freaked out and started shouting Emma's name.

 

"Nikki, what happens?" Cole asks, running inside the washroom and feeling my body to check for injuries.

 

"Emma, where is Emma?" I ask while hiding my face in his chest.

 

"She is in her room. Why? What happened?" he asks while looking worried.

 

"What happens, Nikki? Why are you crying?" Emma asks while suddenly appearing in front of us out of the blue.

 

"My marks, it's disappeared from my forehead," I said while sniffing and harshly wiping my face.

 

"Oh," Emma said and sighed in relief.

 

"Why are you so relieved?" I ask while glaring at her. She chuckles and engulfs me in a hug.

 

"Oh Nicki, my precious child, there is no reason for you to worry. The twins inside your womb were consuming the energy you had stored inside your body. That is why your mark disappeared." Emma said while hugging and patting my back.

 

"But is it possible for them to do that?" Cole asks.

 

"Yes, it is, since they are Nikki's child. After all, she is a moon goddess daughter." Emma said while smiling at her.

 

"Then if I try to store the energy again, then the twins will consume that again?" I ask while pulling away from her.

 

"Yes, but I prefer you don't do it," she said to me.

 

"Why?" I ask her.

 

"Because twins will also consume the energy at the same, and it will harm three of you. However, I am surprised that they started to consume your energy so early. I expected them to do that at the last stage of your pregnancy. Well, I think they are stronger than I thought," Emma said and gently wiped my face.

 

"Do we need to worry about it? Will this negatively affect Nikki and the twins?" Cole asks, looking worried, and I look
