The guests didnāt move as if frozen in time. āFlap-co!ā Mr. Lindel shouted as a white light shot from his palm hitting The Dark One in the chest. He didnāt move for a second and then a white light shot straight through his face and then his back.
The Dark One didnāt even attempt to let out a sound or a noise; his facial expressions said it all. Pain wiped straight across his pale face as he tried to use the last of his powers to cast one last curse but before he could say anything he turned into dust. A thick smelling black dust lay on the red carpet which ran from the door to the alter. As the angels watched and rain began to pour into the church it was if the heavens were crying. A drip fell onto Sophieās face.
āSophie!ā He shouted once more as the guests returned to normal not realizing anything had just happened.
He ran to his newly wedded wife and knelt beside her.
āAre you okay?ā He asked her. She nodded and wept slightly.
āI think so butā¦ā She stopped in her tracks before crying more. āIām pregnant.ā She whispered to him. A shock of horror ran across his face seconds before their families surrounded them.
The sky had returned with light and the dark cloud gone. The families surrounded the newlyweds but one of the guests knelt closely to the black dust. Her curly black hair lay motionless across her shoulders as she pulled out a jar and placed the dust inside of it.
āYouāll rise once more and power shall be yours.ā She whispered and smiled to herself. No one had realized what she had been doing since they were more worried about Sophie and whether she was okay.
The woman placed the jar of dust inside of her extremely large brown coat and placed her hand towards the door slamming it open, causing an extremely large ābangā. The guests looked over quickly. Not one of them knew her, and she definitely wasnāt invited by the bride or groom. Sophieās mother looked closely at the woman trying to figure out who she was and what she was doing. The woman then turned around.
āDawn Crater!ā She shouted, she ran the jar of dust still inside of her large coat. āNothingās going to be the same again.ā Mrs. Lindelās mother whispered to herself.
āMother?ā Mrs. Lindel stood. āWho is she?ā She asked carefully eyeing her mother up making sure she wasnāt going to lie to her.
āEvilā¦ā These were the last words Sophieās mother ever spoke as Dawn had used her powers to kill her when she was to say a certain word.
Mrs. Lindel watched as her mother fell to the floor, she couldnāt do anything due to the fact she was too weak after the battle. Was her baby in danger? Or was the spell meant for the un-born child.
āMother!ā She wept loudly. The priest dazzled and confused by the entire ordeal. āWhy! Why!ā She sobbed into her husbandās shoulder; he looked weak and was in terrible shock, his mother-in-law dead on their wedding dead. There was nothing worse than this. There had been too much drama for one day.
Dawn Crater was smart, loyal to the dark order and talented in dark magic. She was the perfect soldier, the perfect follower. No one was going to be able to stop her bringing back The Dark One; she was to powerful especially since Mr. Lindel had used most of his power this afternoon destroying The Dark One. Was it even possible to bring him back seeing as Mr. Lindel had turned him into a pile of black ash.
