get to the point fast.” he flirted, “I like that in a woman.”
“Well if we leave now you can get to know me better.” I flirted back. “What’s your name hon?”
“Mortuus. What is yours sexy?”
I smiled, he was cheesy, but I liked it. “Aeval. As I was asking, yours or mine Mortuus?”
Mortuus laughed and said, “My place, you gonna leave your friend here?”
I looked over to Hosty and saw her making out with the guy she was originally dancing with. “No, I think she’ll be just fine. Let’s go.” We walked out of the club and went to his car and then to his apartment to do things unspeakable. If I’d have known what would of happened, I wouldn’t have even stepped into the club that night.

Hosty woke up to the sharp ringing of her cell phone. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and looked at her clock. Holy shit! It was two in the afternoon! She must have arrived home really late last night. Hostia decided not to have sex with the man she met last night. They exchanged a few kisses and then their numbers, but that was about it. The phone rang again and she flipped it open. “Hello?”
“Hosty! You picked up! You need to get here quick! I did something really bad. Really, really bad.” stressed Aeval.
“Aeval! Calm down. Hon, what happened and where are you?” asked Hosty in a rushed tone.
“I didn’t mean to. I don’t even know how I did it. I woke up and... and... Hosty come here. Please Hosty! I’m scared.” sobbed Aeval.
“Just tell me where you are!” demanded Hosty. Aeval gave her the address to the apartment she was in and Hosty ran to her car.
****************************
Shit. Shit. Shit. What have I done? I didn’t mean to do it. We just had sex. How in the hell is that deadly? It was great. No hunger, just the feeling of someone loving me again. And just like that, the present whooshed back and slapped me in the face and more salty tears ran down her face. I remember waking up in his arms this morning, I was so happy, not because I liked the guy, but there was no hunger. None. It was amazing. I had turned to face him and say goodbye, but I already missed my chance to do so. He just laid there, eyes open and mouth slightly ajar. I remember shaking him and asking, more like screaming, for him to wake up. He didn’t budge. I vaguely remember running into the kitchen and calling Hosty and giving her directions. I could’t bring myself to tell her over the phone. I had crumpled on the floor after that. I couldn’t believe it, I have killed a person. I bursted into tears again right as Hosty ran through the door.
“Aeval! What the hell happened? Oh hun, are you okay?” Hosty rushed over to me and tried to touch me. I lost it.
“Don’t touch me! I don’t want to harm you I’m sorry.” I cried, “I’m so, so sorry. I didn’t mean to do it. It... it just, I killed him Hosty. I killed him. Warm, salty tears ran down my face as Hostia looked at my face in horror.
“How?” she asked. Not, how could you, or get out of my face. Just how.
My chin trembled, “I don’t know. I slept with him and then when I woke up I looked at him and he was just... just there. Dead.”
“How do you know it was you that killed him? he could have been dyeing before you met him. It just doesn’t make any sense.” Hosty said as she shook her head. “Is there any blood? Where is the body?”
I stood up slowly and walked to the dreaded bedroom. I opened the door and the smell hit the both of us. I flinched and shut the door. “I just woke up and he was like that. He said he was really tired after we... you know, and he passed out. I just... what do I do? I know I killed him. I’m not crazy.” I babbled, “I’m not hungry anymore.” I smiled, “No hunger!”
“What the hell are you talking about? Never mind. Lets call the police and don’t say you killed him. You didn’t kill him. It must be the stress you are going through.” After Hosty called, we came up with the story and when the day was over we went over to her apartment.
“Okay, why do you think you killed him?” asked Hostia in a confused tone.
“I don’t know, I just have the feeling that I did something bad.” I cried, “I don’t know why. I didn’t do anything wrong.” I smiled and wiped my tears away. “I don’t feel hungry anymore. That’s a plus!”
“Wait, your not hungry anymore? When did your hunger start Aeval?”
“About a week after Ango and I broke up, but I don’t see the big deal Hosty. What are rambling on about?” I questioned.
“ Okay, remember the morning of the finals?.” I nodded. “You put your head in my lap and I passed out.”
“What does that have to do with anything?”
“Were you having sex with Ango a lot?”
“What the fuck Hostia! Why the hell are you bringing Ango up?” My face was scrunched up in a scowl. “What is your point?”
“Well, was he tired after your... you know,” Hosty smiled as her face turned red, “Maybe you are just a bad ass when it comes to sex. I don’t know!” She tossed her hands in the air. “Never mind, just don’t touch a lot of people.”
I blew my hair out of my face, “You don’t make any sense. I’ll try to not touch anyone. I don’t know why, but I’ll try.”
Hosty smiled, “Common’ let’s go to the police station and answer some questions.”
I know I did something wrong, but I will fix it. I will control this new hunger. I am untouchable for now, but it won’t be like that for long. Imprint
