my job. He was responsible and good to others. He was perfect. "You'll do" I chuckled and so did Eliza.
"Have a good rest and we will see you tomorrow morning!" Tyler smiled and took Eliza's hand as they moved out of my bedroom, leaving me in peace.

Chapter 5

I crawled out of bed and leaned against my door, watching the birds swiftly move in the sky. It was dark and I was hungry, ready for a snack. I transformed and ran off into the woods, not looking back.
My eyes focused on a deer trotting through the open trees. Target. I charged at it and took a delicious bite out of it's torso. The blood shot a sprang of goodness and my stomach begged for more. I gulped down more blood and ate the meat.
Jessie caught up to me and took a small bite out of my deer, "your not sick are you though?" she was worried and I gave her an answer, "No, that's just Tyler being worried about me" she chuckled and stole a small morcele. "Have some" I nudged the prey towards her and she made sure she didn't take to much.
"Hello again, we meet once more" the bald vampire edged towards us, his breath smelled of blood and smoke. Jessie held he head high and prtected me from them. "You look over protective, young one" he smirked and grabbed Jessie by the paws and swung her into a tree. She slammed against it and yelped loudly. A blood-curdling scream was let out and she tried to attack them.
I leaped in and bit the vampires hand and shook with all my might. He yelled and flung me off. I hit the ground with a large thump and looked over my shoulder to see Jessie being thrown high over me.
My head was spinning and my bones felt weaker already, my jaw ached and my throat was dry. I urghed myself up and attacked, biting into the vampires flesh. I tasted sour and bitter, but I tried to drain him and tear him apart. I failed of course.
Jessie helped me rip him to shreds and then I realized I wasn't failing, the plan was working. Blood dripped down Jessie's face and her paws were stained crimson red.
The vampire was dead. He no longer could try to kill us. But before I could celebrate, I heard another vampire coming. I warned Jessie and ran out of the woods.

Chapter 6

The vampire was closer and Jessie stayed close beside me. "Reagon, keep a good eyes, you'll need them" I nodded and lapped the blood off of her face. Her fur felt stiff and rough but it didn't bother me.
I felt a peircing blade dig into my skin. Silver. A werewolves weakness. Silver could kill one and most likely that would happen to me. I fell to the ground and the pain started to kick in. I howled and moaned in pain, the silver was still in my body, running through my veins.
The pain was too much, it felt like I was on fire. The color glowed in the moonlight. I stared at the stars and thought I would be one of them. Father had told me stories about dead wolves who fly up in the sky and are built as stars. Like Joetta Lycan, a werewolf who was killed and was turned into a star.
I couldn't see Jessie but I knew she was somewhere, she couldn't be dead. Jessie was strong and not afraid, she is still alive.
I yelped again and howled, afraid to stir anymore vampires. They probably thought I was dead. Or was I? I couldn't tell.
I looked over and saw a limp body laying there on the ground, looking helpless. Jessie. "Jessie?" I managed to croak out, I saw she wasn't moving or breathing. "Jessie, wake up!" I screamed, hot tears streamed down my face.
Not Jessie. It had to be someone else. Jessie couldn't be dead. She survived so many things. I turned over and pressed my hand on her face. It was cold as ice.
I cried and ran my fingers down her cheek, hoping this was all a dream. "Tyler!" I yelled to him. Nothing. "TYLER!" I screamed again, the tears were choking me. I smelt Tyler and held my hand out to him. I was human now so I could do more things.
A wolf emerged from the darkness and I recognized him as my brother. "Tyler... Help me" I still had tears pouring down my face.
He turned human and carried me in his arms like a baby. I started punching his arms, "JESSIE! GO BACK WE HAVE TO SAVE HER!!!" he ignored my punching and scratching and put me in my bed but I wiggled around trying to get away, "She's dead Reagon, I can't do anything!" this was the first time Tyler had yelled at me.
He pulled the blade out of me and threw it out the window, making sure he wasn't holding on to the silver part. More tears escaped my eyes and rolled down my cheeks. I hugged him and held onto him.

Epilouge

Jessie's body was buried right next to my parents. They rest in peace together and I still hold onto the memories that we shared. I stared at the lump of dirt and the headstone marked:

Jessie D. Williamson

WILL BE MISSED

I missed Jessie already and I will make sure to check the sky to see if a new star is there. If there is, I will know it's her. Imprint
