up with the scythe dragging behind him. They passed by two monsters sitting on the side. A mummy girl and a zombie boy. Episode Nine "Monitor"

*NOTICE*

Jeff: The Kind Hero will have ten episodes instead of twelve. This happened because I lost interest in this series. The remainder of the two episodes and the break will be either empty or another show will use the empty slots.

Recap:

Jeff stops when he sees Natasha and the zombie boy, but this time their conversation goes wrong and they part their ways.

Jeff returned to the kingdom. He bowed his head in front of the king. The princess stood next to him. Neither of them knew about what happened to Jeff. King Marshall III looked at Jeff. He noticed a change in Jeff. He used to be a small worried kid, but now he had the presence of a cold faced killer. His aura even shook him a little bit. He rewarded Jeff for completing his first dungeon. “I will grant you 10 gold coins. It should be enough for your travels. I will also lend you two allies. A magician and an ax-wielder.” He declared. He then motioned for his servants to take Jeff to his room. They followed his orders. Once Jeff was out of the room Marshall motioned to Jeff’s guards to approach him. “Mind telling me what occurred with him? He doesn’t seem the same. Was it him adjusting to his new life?” Marshall asked.

“If we may speak our minds,” Jake spoke.

“You may,”

“He went into the dungeon and became a different person. I don’t think he’s sane anymore.”

“Yeah! He also acted friendly towards monsters.” Ryan added. “Past heroes never acted like him. Something is clearly wrong with him.”

“Impruidance!” shouted the princess.

“Let him speak Nyle!” Marshall ordered. His daughter closed her mouth.

“We should detain him and monitor.” Ryan declared.

“I agree that his behavior should be monitored. A month before our trip I heard a rumor about the dungeon. The rumor suggested that a demon controlled the dungeon and mimicked voices to lure victims.” Jake told them.

“Why is it that you informed me of this extremely late?” Marshall asked.

“It is a baseless rumor that was, previously, checked out by a band of adventurers. They confirmed that the rumor was just that. A rumor with no truth in it. Unfortunately, it might have been true.”

"You’re suggesting that he is under the demon’s control?”

“Yes, that is why we should monitor his actions until we are sure that he isn’t under a demon’s control,” Jake stated.

“Then, we shall proceed with your idea. Don’t allow him out of his room until we can confirm his behavior. Guards will be appointed to ensure he stays in his room.” Marshall declared. His servants followed his order and Jeff was locked in his room unable to escape.

TBC…

Episode Ten "Finale"

Recap:

Jeff returned to the castle and met with the king. There the king and his guards picked on his weird behavior learning that a demon was housed in the beginner’s dungeon.

The current guards left their posts as the rotation time was near. They disappeared giving Jeff a two-minute window to escape. He used this time to finally pick his branch. He chose Teleportation. “Branch has been established. The skill Teleportation has been learned. New skills have been added.” The robotic voice stated. Jeff looked at the skills briefly. Long Range Teleportation and Ghost Steps were added.

He heard the incoming voices of the guards. Knowing that this will be the only chance he’ll have, he used Teleportation. He imagined the road that took him to the dungeon. The same road he met Natasha and the zombie boy. He chanted the words “Take me to the place of memory.” The chant didn’t work leaving Jeff stuck within the room. The next shift of guards arrived checking on him. They found him looking strange and delusional. He wasn’t sure why the skill didn’t activate. “Hey!” He blurted out. The guards paid him no attention. “Hey? Is this room skill proof?” He asked trying to hide the changing of his body. Slowly the demon possessing him surged through. One guard scoffed while the other stayed silent. Jeff asked once more this time with poundings on the door. The guards became statues. They didn’t move a muscle. They couldn’t, not with the pressure the demon side of Jeff was putting on them. The guard started suffocating while grabbing their throats. They choked while gasping for air. They slumped and fell to the ground. The demon side of Jeff didn’t deter from its plan. It used brute force and tore the door off its hinges. More guards arrived almost as if they knew what was going down. Jake and Ryan appeared along with the king.

“Capture him. Don’t kill him.” Marshall ordered. The guards pounced on Jeff limiting his movements. Jeff struggled. He struggled to move.

The demon within Jeff couldn’t move and saw its next move. “Self Destruction!” The devil shouted through Jeff’s mouth. Jeff’s body started bulging with explosion magic within his body slowly expanding. Once the body got to its maximum, it exploded killing everybody in the castle with a great fire. The explosion shook the city and brought out great chaos from its inhabitants.

A man with an axe saw the explosion and shook his head. The kid behind him, wielding a scythe, watched the fire kiss the clouds. He watched in awe. The man stopped and turned around to hit the kid in the head. “Let’s go,” He said in a low gruffly voice.
