“Yes it is ironic that you think your family is that important for their names to be out of the history books in that you yourself consider your family in a higher state of being than all of the other royal families. “ The man implies
“I know this for sure and do not have to conclude to other solutions for I am perfect creation. “ I counter
“Do not try to fool us with your fancy speech about perfection. Yet you are creation which has no true form and no true face that you can always revert to when in doubt. I suggest you look in the mirror some time because even the prettiest faces are very ugly.” we argue
“That is natural, for a man of your status to feel the need to degrade others of your own specie, rank, and opposite gender. For you are foolish enough to think that you can just walk in here and rule everything you touch. I must be going now, for this is getting boring.” I say as I stand up
“Please, let me accommodate you for the next week” His Brother suggests
Chapter 9
“What is your name sire?” I ask softly
“Demertrius Picasso.” He says it with pride
“Well then, I suppose I can stay for the night.” I say to him directly to his face
“Where would you like to say?” He asks me
Where do you want me to stay? ( I speak to his thoughts)
In my bed, in my arms, under my covers… (He thinks back to me keeping eye contact)
Why?
I want you so badly it burns.
Don’t be so foolish about having me Sire.
I am not being foolish, very serious in fact.
“I will sleep in my own quarters” I announce
“I would be honored if you slept in mine Princess.” Demetri insists
“You do not have the authority to tell my daughter where she should sleep Demetrius Picasso.” My Father’s voice echoes through the palace
“Who is that? How dare He command me what to do and not to do!” Demetri roars
“Now Father, Supreme, do not be so harsh on him. He is after all, a man. He has his uncontrollable urges. His desires. As you had with Mother.” I say loudly
“Hold your tongue. Before I rip it out and have it for my Main Course.” My Father is in front me
In his cape and his purple robe, He stares at me with his green eyes. Eyes which have witnessed and committed unspeakable and unheard of acts. His secret weapon are his eyes. He is the only one of our kind that has that type of power. He smiles at me while I curtsy.
“ I understand that I was out of line, for bringing Mother into this. I apologize.” I kiss the back of his hand
“I am also sorry for ordering your daughter what to do. I have no right to do so. My King, Forgive me.” Demetri drops to his knees in forgiveness
“ My sweet Princess. I could never do such a thing to you and you know it.” He hugs me
“Father…I thought…” I am at loss for words
“You on the other hand, are not forgiven.” He looks at Demetri with those green eyes and Demetri rises against his will
“Daddy, please.” I beg him to stop
“Obey or Die.” He orders me
“Yes Father.” I walk up to Demetri and He stares at me in fear
No Maddeline. Remember who you are. Remember who you were. Remember who your real Master is. Remember that no one controls you. YOU CONTROL YOURSELF.
Maddeline is gone. Princess Dragonmire is here. I have my duties. Leave me alone Shadow.
Never. I have a duty too. To my heart. To you. To myself.
“ Shut Up Shadow!” I drop to my knees and cover my ears
“Shade… Be still.” My Father stares at Shadow and makes him crumple from the internal pain He is causing
“Go away Father. I do not need this right now.” I demand
“You are not of…” I use my super speed to stand in front of him
“SILENCE! Leave Here NOW!” I Order and He visibly shivers
“Ye…Yes My Queen.” He fizzles out of sight
“Shadow, are you alright?” I rush to his aid; passing through Demetri
“ I am alright Maddeline. Are you ok?” He asks more concerned about me than himself
“I am fine. Worrying about you is a pain.” I laugh
“Princess. This way please.” Demetri loops his arm through mine and tows me away
“We will catch up later will we not?” Shadow yells
“I always have time for you” I laugh and follow Demetri’s lead
“So where may we be going this instance?” I ask out of curiosity
“We must get you ready for the ball Princess. I must bring you to my head seamstress for her to make a dress for you from her finest silk.” He opens a door to a woman with spider legs and I screech
“It is ok…I already had my breakfast. I am Arachnid.” She introduces herself
“I am Maddeline.” I shake her hand stiffly
“It seems I have frightened you huh?” She laughs genuinely
“A little but I am alright.” I laugh stiffly
“Color, Length, and Weight?” She asks me for measurements
“Black and Red, Medium, and light” I give her a hug and her other legs wrap around me
“Let us leave. Thank you Arachnid.” He tows me away as I wave at her
“She seemed nice Demetri. I like her.” He laughs at me
“Wait until you see her try and turn on you to eat you. Then maybe you’ll love her.” He pulls me close to him
“What are you dong?” I push him away
“I am Sorry I do not know what came over me” He turns pink
“Can you just take me to my room? Or was it your room?” I tease him
“Whichever you would prefer” His hands shake slightly
"My Room it is." I leave him there following me with his eyes
