names. Some people I specifically like to hang out with I invited to the V.I.P section with us and somehow Terrence got in.
We drink… a lot and then go to the dance floor and party. All day we dance, drink, and grind. I was so drunk I almost fell while walking to the dance floor. I was surprised I could still dance. We stayed til about two thirty. Terrence watched me when I danced and ignored the two girls rubbing all on his chest and shoulders. When we left to guys were walking us out but it wasn’t in the front it was in the back.
“Hey where are we?” I ask with my voice slurred.
“We are just gonna have a little fun with you before we take you back to Roland.” The guy holding me says.
“I don’t know a Roland.” I say.
All of a sudden Annette starts laughing and I start laughing with her. Then I get slammed into a wall. I must have some type of gravitational pull with walls. The guy holding me takes off my jacket and reaches for my shirt. I put up enough fight even while drunk to keep it on. He punches me in the stomach.
Suddenly, Terrence shoved the guys off of me and Annette.
“Don’t touch them every again.” Terrence growls.
The guys ditch us and start to circle Terrence. The guy behind Terrence lunges but just as fast he lost a head. The guy tried to jump him right after but then he was missing a head too. During all of this I helped Annette up. Their blood turned to dust and so did their bodies.
Annette and I start to run.
“Where are you two going?” Terrence asks.
He catches Annette and I by our hand.
“Of course you two would get this drunk.” He mumbles.
“Hey I’m not drunk. I’m just very loopy.” I slur out.”
“Ha. Loopy!” Annette says and starts laughing.
He catches a cab and puts us in and tell the cab driver where to go. He hands the guy a hundred dollars. I mess with the windows making them go up and down. Terrence reaches over and stops my hand. I use my other hand to flick my fire on and off. He calls my name breaking my concentration to stop the fire.
“Lola. Stop.”
We arrive at the hotel and he grabs us both by the hand dragging us through the lobby. When we get to the hall in my room I suddenly don’t wanna go. I want to stay out and party. I start stopping.”
“I wanna go party.” I whine.
“Oh well.”
I literally drag my feet and he tosses me over his shoulder. He opens the door and sets me down. Annette and Terrence disappear. He swoops me into his arms and in three seconds I’m in my room.
“I’ll be here in the morning. Right now I’m gonna pack your stuff but leave you one outfit out for tomorrow.”
“Hmm…” I say. He chuckles.
“Why do you need to keep us protected?” I ask.
“I just need to keep you and Annette protected. I don’t have to worry about your boyfriend and brother.”
“Hey they are very nice people.” I slur out.
“ Yeah I know. I don’t like Robert he seems mean and stiff.”
“Well if he is mean and stiff what are you?” I ASK.
“I’M Terrence The Cruel and Calculating.”
“And you’re proud of that title?”
“I don’t need to prove to people I am a nice guy. People I care and love know I’m a nice person and that’s all that matters. Now Roland is pure evil. I wish I could get my hands on him. But not even I can get through five hundred vampires.”
“So there really is a Roland?” I ask curiously.
“Yes. He is Portia’s ex-lover.” He says while he packs my things.
“Really?”
“Yeah he wants revenge and its been seven thousand years. He needs to get over it.”
“He is that old?”
“You.”
“How old are you.”
“Six thousand three hundred and seventy-four years old.” He says proudly.
“Whoa I heard vampires don’t make it past five hundred years.”
“That’s if you have no self control and training.”
By that last sentence I was out cold. I wake up at nine thirty by an alarm.
“Come on. We have to be at the airport two hours earlier than the flight takes off.” Terrence says.
I groan.
“Nope none of that.” He goes and turns on the shower and then drags me out of the bed. He pushes me into the bathroom.
“Your clothes are on the counter.” He says.
He close the door but even the little click the door made makes my head explode in pain. The shower loosens my muscles but the headache and nausea stays. In the shower I smell my hair and it smells like alcohol I wash my hair and then get out. I blow dry my hair and get dressed in the clothes he set out. He got me sweats, a black t-shirt, a gray sweatshirt, black and gray Nikes, and black Aviators. I brush my hair and wash my face.
I walk out and put the dirty clothes in a bag he left out. I need food my stomach growls loudly. I stumble into the living room and see Robert, Terrence, and Douglas talking.
“Since when is everyone buddy buddy?” I ask.
“Since Terrence saved your life.” Douglas answers.
“He’s actually a pretty cool guy.” Robert says.
“I have a human taking your stuff to the airport.”
“Okay…”
“We ready?” Terrence asks.
They murmur yes. I fall asleep o Robert’s shoulder in the cab exhausted. We get to the airport and go through all the precautions. I go to the café and order a onion bagel and a coffee.
"See I'm not as horrid as you think I am." Terrence says from behind me.
"What makes you thin I still don't think of you as an evil creature of the night?" I ask walking away.
"Because you haven't tried to kill me yet." He says following right besides me.
"Maybe I have a trick up my sleeve." I say.
"You don't...Not yet."He says confidently.
I just shake my head and go on to where Robert is. I sit next to him and share my coffee with him. About an hour and a half later we are on our flight.
