Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. I will not have her hate me and accuse me of you dying if you take my place in the Dead Games. Like I said if Sally's name is drawn it will be different!" I yell at Chase from across the table. Taking a deep breath I pick up my half drinkin glass of milk and dump the rest of it in the Sammy's bowl next to her little plate.

Sammy hurries torwards the bowl and starts drinking the milk I just gave her. Walking back over to the table I pick up Chase's empty glass and go over to the sink. Turning on the hot water I hurry up and clean the cups and set them out to dry. Ringing my wet hands I turn around and see Chase walking over to me.

Gathering me in his arms he tucks my head under his chin and hugs me. A few seconds pass before he disides to say anything.

"I don't care what you say, if your name is drawn instead of Sally's, I'm your brother, I will nominate myself to take your place." Getting frustrated with him I push him away from me before.

"What part of you can't nomin-" A slit nock on the door interupts me and a second later Sally opens the door.

"Oh, hi Sally." I say as she walks in with a scared smile on her face.

"Am I interupting anything? I heard yelling before I walked in. Is everything okay?" She asks me as she walks over to Chase and raps her arms around his waste and he raps his arms around Sally as she leans into him.

"That's adorible. And no you were not interupting anything, besides a little argument between bestfriends. If you don't mind I have to run an arin before I go to school. The good news is today is only a half day, the bad news is, is that its the worst day ever." I tell her as I walk over to the counter with a bag full of some canned food that I filled up the night before.

As I pick up the green bag and walk over to the door to put my shooes on and grab my backbag I hear Sally say, "I have either good news or bad news. It depends on what your reaction is. I think its wonderful news!" With shoes on I turn around and see brunett beaming up at Chase. Slinging my bag onto my shoulder, with the bag full of canned food in my left hand I open the door with my free hand.

"Rez, wait!" Hallors Sally before I have the chance to go out the door. "I want you to hear the news too." I turn back around and wait for Sally to say what she is so exided to say.

"What? What is it? Is everything okay?" I ask her anxiously when she doesn't say anything.

"I'm..." Taking a deep breath looking at Chase and then letting it out she says really fast, "I'm pregnut! And Chase your the father, you can't say you aren't because your the only one I've been with."

Looking to me and then to Chase she wait anxsiously for our reaction. Smiling I walk over to her and give her a hug. "Congrats Sally! You two will be great parents." I say as I let go and back torwards the door.

"Now I definatly won't let you do what you said you would do for me if what was to possibly happen, happens." I tell the green eyed, blonde haired guy, who I call brother, before I walk out the door closing it behind me and then walking down the cracked cemented street.

Chapter Two

Outside walking down the street I think about what was all said at my house. Chase, wanting to protect me the only way a brother can (well boyfriends most of the time protect the girlfriends but I've never had one so thats out), but it being almost imposible since he has a girlfriend to worry about too. A girlfriend named Sally who is pregnut with his baby. Shit, now he definatly ain't taking my place in The Dead Games. If his or Sally's name is drawn I don't give a fuck what he says, I'm nominating myself. If Chase nominates himself if Sally's name is drawn, I'll overrule his nomination by nominating myself.

Turning right at the corner I keep walking a few blocks. Past broken down houses, abandend houses, emypty spaces were some houses used to be. See now this is the benafit of being woken up every morning at four something, it gives me a couple of hours to do an arin of mine before school. Before I can ever do this said earin I have to go to a certain place in the woods to grab something and take somewhat of a short cut through the woods to my destination. Turning left and then right again I hit the entrance to the woods and walk in. Walking down a slit walkway, I go past a small clearing to a cluster of trees and push aside a prush pile that put together resmbles a bush.

Since its illegal to have it has to stay out here in the woods burried everytime I leave it, so no one else can find it. Hopefully. My uncle gave it to me and showed me how to charge from the invention he made (that he called Imposible Charger) before he was sentenced to death. He managed to get outside of the wall, which is really extreamly hard to do, considering if anything touches it at certain times they either get electrocuted, cemented into the wall, or poisoned by a toxin that doesn't take long to kill you. I lift up the seat and put the bag full of goods in it and then lift up the kickstand and get on it. I turn it on and lift up my feet as I start flying down the small path hitting a lot of bumps.

I start slowing down when I see the not so ovious black painted X on two trees.
