Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. Explanations

I don't really remember anything after that and, judging from me waking up in a strange bed, I think I passed out. I scramble out of the bed. As soon as my feet hit the floor, I bolt for the door. I jerk at the doorknob only to find it locked. Voices float down the hallway, telling me people were coming. I push away from the door. How am I going to get out of here? Then I look at the window. Running over there, I push the window open. I glance down only to find my head spinning. I am thirty feet off the ground! I glance around the room again and find a closet. I bolt into the closet as soon as the doorknob starts turning. Three guards walk into the room.

"Where the fuck is she?" the first one to enter curses.

"Look! The window!" the second one shouts, which doesn't help with my headache.

"Damn! If we lost her Prince will kill us!" the third remarks.

As they were staring out the window, I creep out of the closet. I make it to the door before they turn around and see me. I shut the door quickly behind me and turn the key they left in the door, locking them in the room. I creep down the poorly lite hallway. I make to the stairs before I remember about my boys. I watch from the landing as six guards come out of a door that leads to the basement.

"They should be fine down there. He said treat them like normal," one says.

"But if she finds out we locked them in the dungeon then we will have to deal with her," a scared looking one explained his concerns.

By they were reacting, it seems like they were talking about me. As soon as they are out of sight, I bolt down the stair and to the door. I open it quietly and sneak down the stairs. I hear Chase cursing and Kyle groaning. I run over to the cells they were locked in and open it. Luckily for me the keys were one the table at the bottom of the stairs.

"Did someone request a rescue?" I ask smiling to the shocked boys.

Jules runs over to me and hugs me. The other two follow shortly after. We sneak back up the stairs but I stop them before they open the door. Three guards were walking by the door as soon as we got to the top. I signal them that it's clear and we head out. As soon as we get through the main doors, screaming erupts from the third floor.

"What do you mean she's gone!" I heard the Prince scream.

We dart to the woods for cover. But we are surrounded by guards that came out from behind the trees. They usher us back inside. Here we go again.

"We found them trying to escape," the only guard holding me stats.

The Prince turns around only looking at me. The anger in his eyes is suddenly replaced with concern. He runs over to me and hugs me. I stand there frozen, completely shocked. I was expecting yelling not hugging. He pulls away from me and checks my entire body.

"Were you hurt?" he asks.

"Uh...No," I say shocked. "But they were." I point at my boys.

It is true. Chase and Kyle tried breaking through the line of guards at first. But after I yelled at the guards for hitting them, everyone calmed down.

"Why should I care about them? I asked if you were okay-" I cut him off.

"You should care because they are my friends," I stat simply while backing away from him.
