Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. ran faster, pushing her legs faster and longer. Her breathing was labored and heavy. She passed by the coach, her hair flying behind her like a cape. She stopped and leaned over, her hands on her knees and looked over her shoulder at the coach. His face registered only one emotion. Surprise. Then it changed in to something else as though he were proud of her speed. He wrote something down on his board then yelled her name just as she was turning away from him. She looked at him to see him writing something on his notepad, grinning from ear to ear.
“Juliette Crestwood! You made the girls’ track team!” he turned and walked away, his shoulders racking with silent laughter. “Congratulations!”
“Are you serious? I didn’t even know this was track tryouts!” I yelled, laughing.
“Too bad! You made it anyways!”
I hooted, throwing my arms in the air and doing some kind of victory dance, my hips twisting crazily.
I watched as he walked away. My laughter contagious to the other runners as they finished their own laps.
