Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. Chapter 5 ~ Unknown~

"Ma'am now that you know, please leave." Agent Roberts said.

"Yes sir..." I said with a sigh.

I turned around and left.

~~~~~~~~~
As I was about to walk out the door of the dorm house a voice called after me. I turned around and saw nobody so I just continued on my way when I was called after again. This time I saw the front desk lady.
"Yes?" I said.
"Where do you think you're going?" She questioned.
"Out." I stated.
"You should be asleep."
"But there was a problem in my dorm room."
"What problems. As far as I know Mrs. Beverly is going up to room 123 NOT room 156 so go back up to your room." She yelled.
"Okay... Okay.. Geesh." I'll just go out the back door.
~~~~~~~~~

"Good nobody's here." I whispered. I stepped out into the cold, dark night. I should've brought a jacket. My phone started ringing scaring me. It's Gracie.

"Hello? Angel? Can I call you that?" Gracie questioned.

"Hi, and yes you can call me Angel."

"Where are you? I went back to the dorm and it was totally trashed. I also found Amelia in a closet. What's happening?"

"Amelia's alive? Some agent dude said that Amelia's dead. He was looking through our room for evidence. I should've seen if he had a search warrent."

"Wait so some dude was in our room going through our things?"

"Yea, he said his name was Agent Roberts or something like that."

"We should tell Mrs. Beverly."

"I was having a 'nice' chat with the front desk lady and she said the Mrs. Beverly was in room 123. I'll meet you there." I hung up and went on my way.

I began my trek to room 123. I stopped in front of the elevators waiting for the elevator to reach the lobby, not wanting to take the stairs even though it is faster.

"HURRY UP YOU PIECE OF JUNK!" I yelled angrily kicking the door.

Chapter 6 ~The Scene~

I met Gracie and Amelia at the door that read 123. I barely knocked once when the door was pulled back. It was Mrs. Beverly covered in blood with a police officer.

"G-girls. Hello. What are you doing outside of your dorm room?" Mrs. Beverly said sternly.

"Well... Gracie and I were at a friends dorm and when I came back alone I saw this... this man. He claimed to be an agent. He said his name was Agent Roberts or something. Well anyways, he said that our room was a crime scene and that Amelia here." I turned and pointed at Amelia, "Was 'murdered' but I had a feeling that he was looking for something. I saw the whole room trashed, drawers opened, clothes spilled everywhere, and everything.
