My dream was a whole different story though, I was running through the forest, my feet tripping over each other. I heard laughter behind me and I turned around, still running, and crashed into a tree. My nose was bleeding and I looked up and saw a dark figure lumintating above me. I screeched, then something sharp jabbed through me. I glanced down and saw a tree branch coming out of my chest, then another, and another, till my whole body was full of them. The wierd thing was, I wasn't bleeding very badly, I just stood there shocked. My ears were pulsing when Kain arrived, he was yelling and crying, holding his hands to his face. He ran over to me and pulled the branches out of me, one by one. He held my limp body and sobbed, his face and eyes were a deep shade of red and very puffy.
The dark figure luminated us again, this time making seeing anything almost impossible, Kain looked up with a frightened expression on his face. He screamed, and a second later we were both on the forest floor, our mouths opened in a wail, but our hands together. Blood was eveywhere, from a wound on Kain's throat, and from me as well. My vision began to slurr and my head was spinning, but I couldn't move any part of my body.
Some one looked down with a sly grin on his face, he started to chuckle, then it became a roaring laugh. He bent down and rubbed my cheek with his hand; the one standing over my lifeless body was Aden, his wish finally fulfilled. He cleaned off a bloody knife with his shirt, it was probably Kain's blood, and continued to laugh as he walked out of view.
