“My mother isn’t even in my life. She doesn’t have a right to make that deal. And what is your master exactly, some kind of murderer?”
“You could say that.”
“What is he?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.
“I’ll let you know if you come with me.”
“Tell me what he is first and then I go,” I said. But in my mind I was thinking ‘Why am I being so stubborn? These men are possibly murderers and I’m not in a bargaining position.’
“I don’t think so. That’s not how it works. You have to make the first move.”
“You know, in the real world, the man typically makes the first move.” I said as I placed my hands on my hips.
He started to chuckle.
“If I tell you, you’ll faint.”
‘Is this guy serious?’ I thought. ‘What kind of threat is that?’
“I’ve never fainted in my life.”
He smirked and his eyes skimmed down my body. They stopped and rested on my chest. I looked down and noticed that I still wasn’t wearing a shirt.
“Perve.” I said as I moved my arms across my chest.
He laughed. “Alright, you’ve caught me in a good mood. I’ll tell you what he is. But if you faint, you owe me something.”
“What?”
He was silent a moment as he thought. “A kiss,” He said as a sly smile crossed his lips.
I rolled my eyes. ‘What is this guys problem? Why would I faint? Why would I kiss a total stranger?’ I thought as I rolled my eyes.
“Whatever. I’m game. Go ahead, I’m not fainting any time soon buddy.”
“Alright, but I doubt you’ll believe me.”
“Go for it.” He sighed.
“Only because you’re cute… He’s the Devil.”
I tried not to laugh. “What?”
“I’m not lying.”
I rolled my eyes again. “Whatever.”
“And I’m a vampire.”
“Bull.”
“Want me to prove it?”
‘How?’ I thought.
“I will…” He said as he leaned in.
He stared into my eyes. I thought he was going to kiss me. ‘Why not?’ I thought. ‘He’s cute enough.’ I tilted my head back and closed my eyes to allow it. Nothing happened. I opened my eyes to see him still staring.
“I don’t want to bite you,” He whispered. “Not yet.” I still stared at him in disbelief.
“I’m… Sorry.” He said.
I saw him raise something in his hand. I felt a sharp pain at the back of my head. Everything went black…

Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. So using our website in your free time discover fiction for yourself.
