The world was shaken, immediately there were groups forming to condemn Thailand. Ralston requested that no one take action against the country because it was a case of jealousy and rage. Some did not want to buy that as they felt it had been a conspiracy. That theory was as flawed as every other theory. It was an act of jealous passion that ended up tragic.
So that was the end of the story, what seemed impossible became possible. What was unforgivable stayed that way. It was the end or so we think. Much later threads about the assassination appeared on MySpace and a furor of posters aired their views. Most were pure speculation once the affair was revealed. Rals Kincaid spoke the truth when he said.
"I once knew a man who said that there is truth in every lie, and a lie in every truth. He was right, for whatever truth is perceived to be, each must decide what their truth is."
There are many ways to assassinate a leader. One is by murder and one is in the press. We have seen what murder does to our country. We have taken decades to recover from assassination. We have taken an equal amount of decades to recover when a President is assassinated literally in the press. Once again we must decide that neither way is right.
