However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. We soon as we raised the sails, but there was no wind to send us on our way."But how will we sail captain?" I asked. The captain made a motion to his first mate. "Bring 'em out!" he said. A couple crew mates brought out a mummified body. I looked to the captain. He smiled and said "I found this during my last raid of Egypt". The crew dumped the body over the rail of the ship.
Then the air grew damp and cold. I felt a shiver go up my spine as the cold, harsh wind blew by me. The fires started to go out one by one, as if they were being put out by a ghost. When all the fires were out, I heard a sorrowful moaning. And then I heard a voice whisper "Dead men tell no Tales!" The ship sails ruffled as the cursed wind blew into them. The cave door started to close. As we sailed, an explosion of fire appeared in the air. The fire churned until eyes and a mouth formed in the fire."Don't forget out deal Captain Hector!" it hissed. 3 ghosts flew out of its mouth and laughed as they flew towards the boat. "Duck Henry!" shouted Captain Hector. As I fell to the floor, the ghosts flew by me. They grabbed the first mate and started to fly back to their master. "I will not be your sacrifice!" screamed the First Mate. He drew his pistol. I started to run as everything happened in slow motion. Captain Hector drew his sword and deflected the bullet. Right as the first mate entered the mouth of the beast, the bullet hit him in the chest. As Captain Hector put his sword, he said "I never let a grudge get in the way." As we sailed out of the cave, I asked "Sir, were are we going?". Captain Hector just looked straight ahead into the horizon and said "...Tortuga!" Imprint
