So we played two full rounds of DDR and then stood in the kitchen clutching our hot tea and sipping from time to time.
" Clear mind?" she asked me after gulping down some tea.
" Yes, thanks mom. I love it when we can spend time together."
" Me too Riley, me too."
" So back to packing I guess?"
" Not without a little music."
She set her tea down on the counter and walked over to our stereo (which had bomb sound!), plugged in her violet nano and hit shuffle and 40. It boomed out sound (not so loud but the perfect volume) and we sang along to Kryptonite while packing the stuff we weren't gonna use for the rest of the week. After packing seven boxes total for me and eleven total for my mom (I call her the box queen). Then we kicked back for the night and grabbed some shut eye (as a cowboy in the wild west would say).
During the middle of the night I woke up and looked around, everything seemed hazy and constantly moving (like from a horror movie when the heroin or heroine starts hallucinating). Am I in a nightmare or a dream?
Red eyes moved toward me with fangs sharper than a two edged sword. Suddenly millions swarmed around me cutting my skin every which way and the pain felt so excruciating. Running towards my window I crashed through it. Glass stuck in my skin as I fell into what looked like darkness, but what should've been my lawn. Blood, pain and glass was apart of me for the moment and all I could see was dark. I screamed as loud as I could but nothing came out of my troubled lips. Then, I woke up breathing so hard I could hear it echo off the walls. Right on the wall in front of my bed was a mirror and my reflection. I could see blood starting to drip from my nose onto my blanket and my head started throbbing like an earthquake.
