That night Mr. and Mrs. Watson told Ember and the children to meet in the living room at seven p.m. Ember knew this had to be about her "sit down kids" Mrs. Waton said sitting. the kids sat down "what's this about?" Jenny asked as the all sat on the couch across from their mother "Jason, darling , why don't you sit next to me" Mrs. Watson said making room for him next to her. Jason sat next to her already knowing what this was about "Jenny, Jane….. this is about your brother" Mrs. Watson started putting her hand on Jason's leg
"then why are we here?" Jane asked
"yeah?" Jenny joined in
"because girls this is important" Mr. Watson snapped
"last night, something…. happened" Mrs. Watson started
"is Ember pregnant?" Jane interrupted
"no, now shut up and let me talk!" Mrs. Watson yelled. The room went silent.
"I asked Ember to bite me" Jason said looking up at his sisters
"okay, so what?" Jenny asked not thinking Ember would bite him
"and she did" he whispered dropping his head again
"WHAT?" Jane and Jenny yelled jumping up
"you bit my brother you blood dinking freak!" Jane yelled
"I told her too! and she is not a freak!" Jason yelled his fangs shooting out for the first time "OWE!" he yelled grabbing his mouth "that hurt" Ember giggled "well yeah. you didn't honestly think super sharp teeth shooting out of your gums for the first time wouldn't hurt did you?" Ember asked "I didn't think about that" he whispered. Jane and Jenny stood in shock, as did Mr. and Mrs. Watson "I believe I know what you are thinking, Jason needs to be free of this place, its time he learned to live on his own, and the only person who can help him from being killed… is me" Ember said plainly. Mr. Watson nodded "its not safe to live with a vampire unless you are a vampire" he said "Jason, I'm sorry but, baby we need you to leave tomorrow morning" Mrs. Watson said crying "I understand" he said "you can call us whenever you like" Mrs. Watson said.
The next day Jason gathered his things and said good by to his family "you can't know where we are…. ever" Ember said as her phone began to ring "hello" she answered nervously "your little boy friends going to die too" the man's voice said, Ember smashed her phone " Jason we have to go! the hunter knows" she said "hunter?" Mrs. Watson asked "a vampire hunter is out to get me…. and now Jason" Ember said smashing his phone too. "Woe! what? you got a vampire hunter to get all killer crazy on my lil' bro" Jane said angry "its okay J" Jason said hugging her "I'll be fine" Jason put his sunglasses on to hide the tears "my baby boy" Mrs. Watson said hugging him tightly "don't bite any sick people honey" Mrs. Watson smiled. Jason and Ember walked away "I know its hard… but it’s the only way" Ember said comfortingly "I know" he whispered tears running down his face.

Ember gave Jason vampire lessons everyday. She taught him how to run faster, how to hunt, how to track, how toread minds, and most importantly how to fight. Ember was harsh, she beat him with a tree branch when he angered her. "Do it right!" she yelled wacking him "I'm trying!" he yelled back. She wacked him again in the back, this time harder "fight back!" she yelled as he fell to the ground "I can't hit a girl" he said getting up "I'm not a girl! I'm an enimey! in the fighting world there is no diffrence between a man and woman! fight back!" she ordered hiting him again "time out! Imprint
