Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. friend's speech, until he reached the "and you look loco" part. He looked deadly now.
Xavier countered with a beast-like growl, "Did you just go there? I can't believe you just went there. Please, tell me, you did not just go there."
Jeremiah questioned innocently, "Go where?"
Xavier sprung onto Jeremiah and pinned him down, leaving Jeremiah stunned and vulnerable. Jeremiah squirmed under him, but quickly stopped when Xavier chastised him with a sharp bark.
Xavier said, "Did you just call me... loco?"
Jeremiah finally understood where this was going, and intelligently answered, "No, of course not, buddy... you know, you're really great and stuff, and—"
Xavier screamed, "Do not lie to me! It is a sin to speak of the untruth; God is watching us! He..."
Jeremiah grew bored, somehow, in this life-threatening situation, and his patience to wait for his inevitable death ran short, so he mustered all his strength and flipped Xavier off. It wasn't very hard, because Xavier spoke in a very moving manner about God and His Gracious-ness. At least, it would've been a very deep speech, but he had a dagger dangling from his hand at the moment, and Jeremiah didn't want to stick around for him to realize that he was supposed to be assaulting his best friend with 6th century weapons.
Jeremiah sprinted off, with Xavier whooping behind him. Jeremiah jumped the trashcan and nearly tripped. He raced around the corner, frightening many shoppers with their hovercarts. He slipped through the traffic, weaving in and out, very frequently spilling an angry/surprised/shocked shopper's things from their bag(s). Xavier hollered like a loon behind him, and that encouraged Jeremiah to run even faster.
He glimpsed the girl Xavier threatened earlier, and her eyes widened as she registered that her self-proclaimed killer was back. Jeremiah screeched to a halt and hid behind her, peeking between his fingertips that rested on her shoulder. He shut his eyes for a moment, and felt a powerful thud on his head. He squealed like a piglet because he thought it was Xavier pelting him with the handle of his dagger. He cowered even more behind the girl. He felt another thump and screamed as if he were falling off of the Tech Tower in Chip City.
He opened his eyes, prepared to run away, but a hand tenaciously attached to his collar held him back. He prayed to whoever was watching him, and mentally wrote his will. He didn't see the flashing white light or having his memories roll through his head, so he cautiously opened his eyes. He saw the girl glaring at him, and Xavier growling. Jeremiah was momentarily confused, and glanced at the purse in the girl's hand. He took a few moments to think, and finally pieced together that the girl thumped him with a purse, much like the manner of those old ladies they talked of from the 21st century (though he would never tell her that).
He smoothly opened a conversation starting off with, "Erm... hey, I'm Jeremiah, and uh, heh, this is my... totally un-crazy friend, Xavier. Heh, nice to meet you...? What's your name?" He finished off with an awkward smile.
The girl snorted and replied, "Wow, a bit late, don't you think? But, for the sake of this quickly dying conversation, I'm Faith Hopes. Yeah, ha ha, so funny. I've heard it all. Anyhow, your 'buddy' here, Xavier, is part of HILTS: Historic Illegal Learning Treachery Society."
"Hey... I wanted to keep it a secret and tell him!" Xavier pouted.
But Jeremiah was too shocked to register what his loony best friend complained about.
