“I would see that you’re dealt with… without letting myself be mangled on a fence… somewhere. I can promise you that.” He declared.

“You’re telling me that they escaped and my son is dead?” Leonardo asked, staring at a guard with a mutilated arm, burnt by Helen. “How the hell did it happen?”
“Uh… the prisoners. A few of them found a way to take off their collars. They escaped using their powers and that caused a riot that killed your-” A glare from Leonardo stopped him. Leonardo then stood up, approaching the shorter in stature man.
“Contact Trigger and the others. Tell them to bring their heads to me. Everybody’s heads. I won’t be satisfied with just the mastermind.”
The man nodded, turning away and leaving the room Leonardo was in. Once he was gone, Leonardo balled up his fists and slammed them on the table.
“You damn women dare kill my son! I’LL HAVE YOUR BODIES HUNG AND HEADS ON SPIKES. I WILL KILL YOUR ENTIRE LINEAGE FOR YOUR CRIMES! HOW DARE YOUR HURT, MY PRECIOUS SON!” He screeched before erupting into tears. He lost his first and only son and now he wanted revenge,
“An eye for an eye makes the world blind? It’s been blind since the dawn of man. Since the dawn before I left. Since they took my son!”
A Guide to Two Page Shorts: Episode Zero*Hello All*
Welcome to the first episode of A Guide to Two Page Shorts which will act as a source of information concerning Two Page Shorts’ (TPS) stories. This guide will provide information about plans, behind-the-scenes information, and other small but interesting details about TPS.
Starting this collection of short stories is the first installment in the series, being Two Page Shorts: Volume I (Volume One) in November of 2018. The roster of this installment featured the now-defunct The Halloween Riser (THR) franchise’s first chapter - Part One. It also featured the, similarly defunct, Experiment Saga’s first in a trilogy of loosely connected short stories - Damaged. Volume One took some liberties with the “short” part as each story was the length of a page front and back, This is also how the collection got its name as each story was only “two pages” long, though I was going off what Google Documents told me was two pages. In reality, these early stories were only one page long.
The motivation behind writing Volume One spiraled into a sequel some months later in the new year of 2019, a year before a certain event occurred. January of 2019 saw Two Page Shorts: Volume II (Volume Two) released with the second chapter of the THR franchise, - Apprentice. Apprentice ended up being one of two short stories at the initial release, the other one being the second installment in the now-defunct (strange how many times I used this word so far) Bendy and the Ink Machine fanfiction. This volume was a total mess as the rest of the collection were fillers. A decision was made close to the release date, since I had no other short stories written at the time, to push out Five Sentence Shorts. Instead of delaying Volume Two, I relied on a small collection of five-sentence shorts to pad up the volume. So there were two short stories and about ten to fifteen five-sentence shorts that lacked any real depth or interest. They felt like they were forever stuck in the brainstorming phase since they barely had any names, mostly just disjointed plot points.
Following after Volume Two, as you can probably guess, is Two Page Shorts: Volume III (Volume Three) which arrived a year later starting in January of 2022. Volume Three has an interesting approach as it doesn’t drop all of its content at once, but, instead, releases it monthly. This release schedule has been adopted for all future volumes. This volume’s roster contains the second chapter of the Experiment Saga’s loose trilogy, Murder House, as well as the third installment under the THR franchise, Hunter & Prey. This volume saw a complete makeover of the previous two volumes. Five Sentence Shorts was erased and replaced with new life while older stories got remasters and others were swapped with new ones. This complete makeover of these volumes lasted the entirety of 2020 and 2021 and saw new additions to the rosters and a bump up in terms of quality.
As of this writing, the latest installment will be Two Page Shorts: Volume IV (Volume Four). Volume Four will begin in March of 2022 and end in December of the same year. It will feature ten short stories of better quality than the previous volumes and will be released one story a month. This volume was meant to be released in 2021, but the makeover of the first three volumes bled into that year and forced Volume Four to be delayed a year. There have been some issues that I have run into already, mainly stories being cut from the roster, but it should proceed as usual and the releases should be on time.
As of yet, there are confirmed two more volumes that will be released in 2023 and 2024, respectively. These volumes will be ten stories each and will be released within the months of February to November, leaving two empty months in case there are issues with getting out the stories.
This is all the news for Two Page Shorts. Future episodes will feature every story even released as part of the Two Page Shorts’ label. These episodes will cover defunct stories, scrapped stories, or persisting titles under the label. The “first” episode will follow the first story to be released on Two Page Shorts - The Halloween Riser: Part One.
Until next time, I bid you all a good day!
