Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. pleased," The one with mahogany hair almost identical to mine smiled. Our eyes synced. She had looked me over just like I had her. She blushed and smiled again. She looked like a sea goddess.

"So where can I get clothes uhh-," I started unsure of there names.

"Dear me um... I'm Onity and this is-" The blonde bubbled happily.

"I'm Arieli but my friends call Ariel my mom's Ariel nice to meet you-," She started as she reached her hand for a shake.

"Not now Arieli," She said swimming grabbing my hand and nearly dragging me along.

"And you see nitty witty is not my friend," Arieli whisper-said to me.

I nearly giggled. I smiled at Arieli, I was going to like Arieli so like me but so different.

Onity sat me on a seashell bench as I waited for her to come back with clothes. Please fit. I silently prayed. Her clothes were way too tight I mean not even playing.

Arieli came to sit with me.

"You know she pushes her boobs up with clams," Arieli said. I burst out laughing. She looked serious but jokingly.

"You've got to be kidding Ariel," I said struggling on my words as I struggled for air.

"Did I give you permission to call me that?" She looked serious.

"I didn't mean t-," I stuttered. Had I made an enemy already?

"I'm just joking with you," She said laughing. "I'm taking acting classes for a MerCreature Academy Play Land people to MerCreature."

"Wow," I said still baffled.

"Did I do well? I've practiced my moods and body language because usually I'm too bubbly to perform. The director Ms. Yelfah said that I was to excited and needed to get into character. As a Land person I need to be upset I was turned into a mermaid but I was so excited I could get off the stupid legs I started laughing," She said nervously. Yet another difference she talked alot  when she was nervous.

I laughed,"You did great Ariel, I thought you actually were mad at me though."

Just then. Onity came back with tons and tons of clothes carried on the backs of 4 humongous seahorseys' the size of land horses.

Onity was out of breath. "And just what have you been doing that's so breathlessly tiring?" I said crossing my arms in mock- sincerity. She smiled.

"I saw Odius, prince of the northern part from here and his brothers Adin who is prince of the southern part, and Corti who is prince of the western part," She said blushing at the sound of Adin. I saw Arieli twiddling her fingers at the sound of Corti's name.

"Aww... you mergals have chrushes on the princes," I said at there embarassed states.

"How did you know?" They both said in unison. They looked at each other in shock then they smiled at each other warmly.

"Not Adin?" Onity asked looking at the ground nervously.

"Not Corti?" Arieli asked at the same time.

They laughed with each other and hugged friendly.

"Thank Poseidon," Arieli sighed instead of thank god.

I laughed.

"Try this on for size-," Onity started pulling out a green dress that was too flashy.

"No, I insist you try this on," Arieli said pulling out a beautiful silver dress that flowed like a wedding gown. And had a small silver bracelet. It was just gorgeous!

"Oh wow..." I smiled. Arieli definitely was my fashion advisor now!

"I knew you'd like it," Arieli bubbled happily glad for her sucess.

"Um I didn't say I liked it," I said looking at Onity's glum and dissapointed face. Onity brightened a little bit.

"Onity please help me pick out a purse and shoes. These pumps are hideous," I said sticking them away from my face in digust.

Arieli grimaced. Onity smiled.

"And guess what?"

"What?" They said in unison.

"I love the dress, the shoes and the purse," I said trying to sound even. "And you know what else?"

"What?" Onity said a little bit annoyed I loved Arieli's dress.

"I love you all the same," I said hugging them both. Their moods lightened and there faces lifted.

"Where can I find a changing room?" I asked.

"Here," Arieli said as she threw a huge rock on the ground. I was wondering what a rock was going to do for me. The rock shook on the ground then after a minute it opened up turning into a fitting room.

"I've gotta get one of these," I said as I dressed.

"You look be-u-tiful," Onity said looking me over.

"And you will too," I told Onity.

"What do you mean?"

"You'll see," I said smiling.

I shoved Onity into the changing room and threw a pretty copper dress in with her.

"I am not wearing this," She said.

"Yes you are," I said.

Arieli chuckled.

"Don't you worry Ariel your getting a dress too," I said sternly throwing her a dress too.

The dress I gave her was a gold color shaded the same as Onity's dress. I stood out and I didn't even mean too!

I followed my merfriends to an underwater castle. Like the ones I had dreams about. I looked around and I heard music playing on cue of my entry. I saw mercreatures and fish but mostly mercreature. The grand silver gates closed behind us.

As on sight I saw a big burly man with a long silverish beard. I had to lower my eyes so I wouldn't be blinded by his handsome face. But after awhile I could look him in the eyes. Finally, we could see eye to eye. Hehe eye to eye mind pun intended!

Then I saw three handsome young human men. I'd seen them before all of them. One had curly brown locks and green eyes. I'm guessing Adin. Another had jet black hair and a cute subtle 'I could care less' look about him with strange blue eyes that mesmorized me, had to be Corti. And the other guy could've been Odius but maybe not because Odius I remember had jet black hair which he lacked.

But where was Odius?

The gates reopened the music stopped abruptly. I turned to my left to see a man with greyish blue eyes and black hair. Odius. He was holding a satchel and looked nothing like he used to. His attire was black and embroidered with silver lining of his coat.

"Sorry I'm late Seidon, but had to do a few things," He said but at the moment he wasn't looking at me. But at my father. Who looked shock he called him his nickname in front of the collosal audience.

"No you needn't be sorry, but you need to apolgize to my daughter," Poseidon said gesturing in my direction. Odius looked at me but I lowered my eyes for I wouldn't look at him until he acknowledged me.

I heard Odius walking towards me. He was on one of his knees and he took my right hand.

"Dearest Dite, please accept my invitation to dinner in hopes that you can for give my tardiness for your home return," He said his words brushing my heart although he might've only been asking me to dinner on account that he was late and needed my forgiveness. He looked me in the eyes. My heart thrummed. His eyes captivated me. He blew on my hand lightly trying hard to hide what he did then kissed my hand. The last thing I saw was his beautiful eyes and him falling out as did I.

The B.O.M. Black Out Memories

I realized I was in dream state and thought the worst that I was dead. I saw little Odius and ran up to him. And waved my hands in his face but realized he couldn't see me. I watched as I saw little Odius wipe the tears from his eyes as he sat on a rock ledge on land. I watched as a younger version of me walked up to him and gave him a hug. At the time, I hadn't the slightest idea why I was trying to comfort a stranger. My orange frizz was contained by little pearl clips. I had on pretty pearl earrings and a bracelet my mom gave me.

"What's your name? Why are you sad?"

"My name's Odius but you can call me Dius," He said as the tears dried. "My mom's forcing me to marry some girl when I get older and we're going to move to meet her."

"So?" I asked.

"So I have to leave my friends and my life behind for some orange haired prude that might not even like me," He snapped. He clasped his hand over his mouth "Sorry um I didn't mean that like it came out."

"Why are you complaining now then? You won't have to get married until later so what's the big deal? You can live it up until then," I said thinking my thoughts out loud. I was 12 and I still knew what was right.

"I see your point," He said smiling. "So what's your name?"

"Its Celina with a C but my friends call me Lina," I say.

"You don't look like a Celina," He said.

I glared at him though he was right.

"I'm sorry but you don't," He said cautiously.

"I guess your right. You're so easy to talk to Odius," I said tucking my hair behind my ears.

"You are too," He said.

It was silent. I shifted on the bench.

"Staring contest," He shouted.

I opened my eyes wide and smiled our eyes bulged. I gasped air. He wasn't relenting. I kissed him on his cheek and ran off. He blushed. And I heard a whisper I hadn't heard when I ran off.

"Thank Poseidon"

I smiled.

I saw the more recent form, the Odius I just reconnected with, Odius watching the old memory from far off near my old house. I saw Odius' tears and it broke my heart we were definitely taking a journey down memory lane. I walked towards Odius and he caught my eyes.

"Tell me, why are you crying?" I asked wiping away his faint tears.

"You a-aren't supposed to see me like t-t-this," He stuttered.

"And Odius a women who cares a lot about you. And you won't cry in front of me?" I asked hugging him tightly. I hoped this was a dream because I needed Odius to know this but not know my true feelings for him yet....

"You care?"

"More than you'll ever know Odius," I said still hugging him.

"And I care too but don't you have feelings for Hephaestus?" He asked his eyes watering.

"No I don't. I have one person in my heart and always will and that spot is for you," I cooed. "I want you to know something."

"And what is that?" He said unsure.

"That Odius I love you," I said honestly.

I tried to pull out of the hug maybe he didn't want to be with me. The silence sure said so. He pulled my arm back to him.

"Know this Dite I love you too," He said honestly and not just throwing the word around out of obligation.

"But what about that girl you were said to be married?" I question-murmured.

"Strange coincidence Dite.... that girl is you," He said smiling he looking into my eyes. He kissed me on my lips and I got tingles all over unlike my kiss with Hephaestus.

Then the blackness was gone and I awoke to worried faces and a hospital place out of the sea.

"How long have I been out?" I asked drowsily.

"An hour or so," Onity lied.

"Don't sugar coat it, Onity. You've been out for a day. And so has Odius," Arieli said grumpily
