Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. onto the platform near the ocean, Percy started running to jump into the water. I grabbed his arm and told him that, that would be a bad idea. He ignored me.
As he jumped in the water splashed him back and seaweed tied him up to a pole. “I hate to say this to you, but I told you so,” was my reply to him for not listening to me. I then said to what the others thought was the water, “you know, that wasn’t very nice of you. After all he was trying to help you.”
“Yeah,” replied a voice from the water, “well he kind of deserved it and you know it.” Trying to explain I mentioned “but, he didn’t know.” She didn’t reply because she knew I already knew what she’d say.

Then the new girl poked her head out of the water. Everyone couldn’t believe she caused it. “well, ” she said, “ where is your apology boy.” “Apology! Why in the world would I apologize for trying to save you?” asked Percy. At that moment all I could think of was how stupid boys could be sometimes. Especially Percy since he should know a girl is always right.
Then the seaweed tied around him tighter. I calmly said, “Stop it, Both of you right now. Percy you apologize first, tell her that you are sorry for interrupting her while she was changing.” Percy’s face turned pink and he apologized. Then I continued, “Now you, apologize for underestimating how much he might know and then sea weeding Poseidon’s boy to a pole.” That’s when her face turned pink and she followed my instructions.
I could tell that this could have went horribly wrong thank fully though the gods are apparently on my side which didn’t make me feel any happier.

(22) Percy: Happy anniversary

If I was telling you the truth when I got sent to New Jersey all I could think was, what did I do wrong. Thankfully I was not sent alone. I got sent to New Jersey with my best friend and my girl friend. I discovered shortly after, that punishment was not the point of sending us.

There was a school that apparently was full of monsters. Now I do not mean that it was a school for monsters, It was for humans except when ever a satyr passed by they claimed that their was over a hundred monsters there. Once we got there Grover agreed to those claims. The scent of monsters was incredibly strong.

Trouble started as soon as we entered the school. It was almost like our presence was all it took to over load their system. It probably also did not help that we entered right as the dismissal bell rang.

The sight was strange. If you looked quickly at a student you might miss it. Plus if you didn’t know what you were looking at you might just think it was a hat or a dim light behind them. There was mist all over this school. The symbols glowed above their heads so faint but they shimmered and danced as if they have been dying to be recognized. They were all being claimed at once and it didn’t disappear.

The problem was we did not see any monsters around and with this many half- bloods, there were going to be a lot. Grover started mumbling how this was wrong, so many of them in one place but their scent hardly noticeable. Then the hallways started emptying out.

That was when we spotted a monster it was two Minotaurs and Annabeth started telling me how there is only supposed to be one. All I could think of at that point was how I thought I would maybe not have to see the Minotaur again and now there are two.

Right before we could attack, a kid who had a glowing hammer above his head ran past us. Right behind him was a hellhound. The Minotaurs saw that and one started chasing the hellhound the other one saw us.

Some people might think they have gone delusional, I would prefer this to be a dream, but I knew better. Percy: My Half Fish Half Sister

Mermaids are not pretty. At least the ones down at the bottom of the sea that fight in my dad’s army. So when a girl jumps into the water I don’t automatically think that she could be turning into one. What I do automatically think is that she is going to drown.

Persephony: Cartwheels and Patty Cake

Well I guess I Know why now my mom told me never to ice skate. Apparently she has a keen eye to not only fashion but monsters. Anyway, I love pizzazz and beauty so, why not enter a camp full of people with an amazing cartwheel. Unfortunately for me I hadn’t been in water all day and that was a big problem.
You see the ideas of what a mermaid looks or acts like are completely off.
