Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. Chapter 4-Fire And Smoke!

Flint narrowed his eyes, glaring down once again at the lapping flames. They seemed to grow higher.

"What are we going to do?" He asked quietly.

Whisp shook his head. "There is nothing we can do." He replied slowly. "Its terrible."

Flint locked eyes with him. "Theres always something we can do, Whisp." He told him. "Lets try, at least!"

Whisp grunted as he turned his gaze across the foggy field. Something caught his eye.

"Hold on." He growled as he flew forward a bit. It was a figure. It could have been a shadow of the fog, as it was completely still, but Whisp could sense an evil presence among the field.

"Someones here." He whished down. As soon as he came close to the figure, it moved out of the fog, displaying a young female wizard. Her smirk held; she showed her teeth at Whisp.

"Very white." Whisp acknowledged. The female had pale skin, and dark golden eyes. Not only that, but she was fast.

She zoomed out of Whisp's reach and back in two seconds, her gaze light with humor. Whisp tensed, his eyes locked with the females. She turned her gaze back toward where Flint and Callus floated. Sensing her gaze, they hovered down to them.

"Vampire." Callus was shocked. His eyes were wide, mouth agape. Flint could only glare at the intruder, knowing enough about the species to know not to...challenge...them.

Whisp, however, being brave, dared to take a step forward, ingoring the females enraged hiss as her glowing eyes turned from humor to anger. Whisp lowered his head, but his stance remained daring.

"Leave, or you will be taken prisoner." He snarled. The female held his gaze. "Whats your name?" She asked. Her voice rang like churchbells, soft and sweet but demanding.

"Whats yours?" Whisp growled warily. The female let out a chortle of laughter; Whisp flinched away from the beautiful sound.

"Im Christine." She explained. "And I could fight you off." She said cockily, tipping her head to the side slightly with amusement. Whisp narrowed his eyes. "Flint."

"On it." The young wizard pointed his wand at Christine, using his magic to freeze her in place. Now Callus waved his wand to the female vampire, lifting her higher in the air to show her she stood no chance. Despite her frozen features, rage glittered in her golden brown eyes.

"What are you doing to my sister?" Another vampire launched at them, teeth bared. Whisp looked at her.

"You need to leave. Both of you do. This is wizard land." He snapped. Callus let his spell loosen, and after hesitation, as did Flint.
