Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. walked over to the dining room door.

Pushing open the door, she could not believe the sight that met her eyes. There was a small crystal chandelier where the old light fitting had been and it was giving out a softly suffused glow. Red candles balanced on silver candle holders in the center of the table sending flickering shadows against the far walls.

The best china and the silver cutlery had been set out in a formal dining style; set for two. A huge bunch of velvety red roses nearly covered the sideboard.

The thing that captured her attention sat prominently on the table. A wide white box with a red ribbon tied in a large soft bow. She took a few steps towards it. Looking at it, she was almost unable to move. In simple letters embossed into the lid she could see the words "Victoria's Secret".

A sound came from the other doorway, the one leading to the kitchen. She did not look around, still transfixed by the box.

"Go on, open it," his voice whispered close to her ear. Her heart nearly jumped out of her throat; her knees were weakening.

She turned to look at him. The soft light glinted in the corner of his eyes and played across the gentle smile on his lips.
