Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. wished I would leave him alone....
I shook my head as the memory faded. Jason was shaking me. I grabbed his arm and pushed him away. He took a step back.
“I told you to leave her alone..” Ignivir said warning him again. Jason scowled at him then looked back at me. I was wide-eyed and surprised when the scraping of claws made me jump. I looked around and stood. Ignivir had brought me back to the world again. I blinked, then started to the mouth of the cave the light blinded me but I only stopped when I got to the edge. I then looked down and saw the wild landscape below. It was morning and the world seemed to come to life. I could see a falcon flying looking for its breakfast, a lake with a couple of deer around it and more grazing in a meadow. I wished I could fly then these problems wouldn't be here and I could finally live freely. A breeze blew my hair, caressing my check. I closed my eyes and smiled. Then the world came back in full force.
“....You and her and the world why did you..” Archer and Jason were arguing. I turned.
“ENOUGH!” My mind was ringing from the power of my minds voice. Everyone jumped even Ignivir. They looked at me open-mouthed. I almost laughed and ended up with a small smile. Archer and Jason scowled at each other then looked back to me, waiting. Ignivir chuckled and Starfire shook his head.
“I don't understand fully but then I will in time right now though I need to be caught up quicker then what my memories will let me.” I paused and looked to Jason and Archer.
“You two are going to help me” I added. Jason nodded and Archer bowed. I came over and sat down. Jason sat to my right while Archer sat to my left. I looked straight ahead zoning out until Jason gave me a gentle shake.
“Alexia?” He asked. I blinked a couple times then looked to him cocking my head a little. He shook his head and sighed.
“What don't you remember?” Archer asked bringing me back to the situation. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes trying to remember. I could only see shadows and silhouettes.
“Nothing except these two..” I said showing them what I had seen going over each one but not letting them see the horrible end that I had seen the morning we came here. I opened my eyes to see Jason was looking at his boots grimly, Archer was smiling sadly. I scowled then concentrated.
“Don't!” was the last thing I heard before everything came back in a rush....
My childhood flew by me but certain points stopped and I watched as they slipped be moving on to the next. Jason and Archer were the ones that were always there until....
Fire flew into my face as I tried to run but everywhere I turned fire was there. I looked back and saw a man snickering he had a hood on but I saw a flash underneath it and knew it was a crown. I screamed in anger and pain as the flames liked at my arm. I looked around and found that I was now alone then I looked up and with all my might cried for help. I fell a second later and took one last look at the sky and before darkness took me I saw something move above me then nothing.....
I jumped to my feet gasping for breath. It was dark and I was in a cave with a dragon, three horses, and two men. Only one of the men were awake looking out at the stars, but when I moved toward him he turned, knife in hand. When he saw who he turned back around. I remembered now everything that had happened and was scared of the challenge ahead. I came to sit beside him.
“How long have I been out?” I asked Jason. He looked to me and shook his head.
“How did you survive?” He asked me looking back at the stars. I looked with him and smiled before turning back to him to answer his question.
“I'm not sure...” It was sort of true except that when I had started to fade the last thing that had came to me was him and that along with the trauma kept everything from me until I really had tried.
He shook his head still looking at the sky.
“You lie” He said looking me in the eyes. His green ones sparkled as if light shined through them. I had to jerk myself away. I looked back to the stars. They were beautiful, a full moon stood out above the rest. I smiled then looked back to Jason. He was still waiting.
“I thought I had lost my chance to see you again and it destroyed me more then the fire...” I said pulling my long sleeve shirt up to show the scar from the fire. It was the only one left, the others had been minimal and were long gone. I looked to Jason then looked up into the night sky. I felt him gentle grab my arm and turn it to see the burn. I didn't turn to see his reaction but I did pull my arm away, putting both in my lap shyly and intertwined my fingers. I felt him scoot closer. I turned to watch him. He smiled and reached out to grab my hand. I hesitated but sighed and let him. He traced the edges of the burn mark. The flames had licked my arm, it looked like the fire was still there covering my hand stopping on my elbow. It was a light red color now. I looked into Jason's eyes and he into mine. He suddenly let me go and scooted back a little.
“I am sorry” he said. I turned away and started to get up. He didn't stop me so I started down the side of the cliff. We were in the mountains it was beautiful at this time.
“Don't go far..” Starfire said to me. I looked back but only Jason was still there, looking at his hand. I shook my head and started off again. I walked without thinking and ended up on the side of a cliff I looked around to see trees surrounding me in a half circle it was about 30 feet to the forests again. I was going to go back to the where Jason was when I heard hooves. I froze as 4 White Riders came out and surrounded me I wished I had brought my bow and arrows then remembered I had a knife. Great just great. They gathered around and started to cackle.
“I thought I felt her somewhere near I told you that fool didn't kill her.” One to my left said. The other three shook their heads.
“Who and what do you mean?” I asked them looking at each of them. They all looked at me as if I was stupid when an arrow flew out as if from nowhere hitting one of the riders in the shoulder. I jumped into action and stabbed the one to my left and took his horse. She reared then settled and we charged the next rider. I caught sight of Jason on Starfire fighting with another where the third was I had no idea. The one in front of me caught me and I yelped causing Jason to turn and in turning his attacker knocked him off Starfire. I gasped in pain then galloped over to him only to be surrounded before I could reach him.
“Stop there” one hissed. I started to cry.
“Jason edro en heel, travadr el es Ignivir” I thought hard my strength leaving me as the spell did what I asked and as I watched he slowly faded. The riders didn't notice. There were only two now the third Jason had shot was out his horse was wounded and could go no where. With a new determination I gripped my knife and threw it in one Riders face and jumping at the other in the next second. I wrestled with the last one and screamed as we fell off the edge.......
