Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you donā€™t realize the full power of fiction. CHRISTY
Heā€™s a flirt thatā€™s for sure, but not a bad looking little fuck

RINGO
What happened?

CHRISTY
Nothing much, he bought me a drink at the health bar, thatā€™s all

EVETTA
Well, letā€™s see what happens, but be careful

Christy waited two days before returning to the Center and after swimming in the pool she looked in the weight room and saw Esau pressing a two hundred pound weight, when he saw Cristy he motioned for the handler to place the weights in the rack.

ESAU
Whatsup up Christy, youā€™re looking good enough to eat

CHRISTY
Iā€™m cool Ronald, whatsup with you

ESAU
Just keeping in shape, I will have to be to keep up with your fine ass
Christy smiled.
ESAU (CONT)
I know a nice, quiet intimate restaurant a short distance from here, join me for lunch?

CHRISTY
Why not, meet you in the lobby in twenty

ESAU
Great,ā€ Esau said as he watched her walk away. He immediately got a painful erection.

Esau and Christy had lunch at Dustyā€™s Restaurant and he drove her to her departmental rented apartment. The next morning she was in Ringoā€™s office.

EVETTA
Howā€™s it going

CHRISTY
Itā€™s going, we had lunch yesterday and he drove me home, he really thinks heā€™s ladies man, with his short ass

RINGO
Youā€™ve got to play him, I donā€™t know what kind of move heā€™s going to make on you, but I know heā€˜s going to make a move. If he drove you home he thinks he knows where you live. Thatā€™s where heā€™s going to make his move

Christy apartment was in Hyde Park an affluent Chicago neighborhood a mile or two from the fitness center. Christyā€™s ā€œHouse,ā€ had been rented by the police department and was equipped with close-circuit cameras, concealed microphones and other high-tech surveillance equipment. Christy saw Esau a couple of times at the club but according to the plan she was very reserved and withdrawn. She refused invitation for drinks at the health bar or lunch and she knew that Esau was becoming frustrated and perhaps angry. Ringo arranged around the clock surveillance on Esua and he was observed him on numerous occasions standing outside of Christy apartment. Whenever Christy saw him at the club she noticed him watching her and trying to make conversation which she abruptly cut off. Each rejection by Cristy got Esau angrier and he finally cornered her in the weight room.

ESAU
Whatsup beautiful got time for a drink?

CHRISTY
No, Iā€™m sorry, Iā€™ve got to run

Esau had Cristy nearly pinned against the tread mill.

ESAU
Seems like you are always in a hurry, whatsup?
I had arranged for another young detective to meet Christy at the center, the detective was handsome entered the room.

YOUNG DETECTIVE
Hi babe ready to go?

Christy squeezed past Esau and walked over to the detective gave him a hug and a kiss.

CHRISTY
This is Mark my fiancƩ.

Esau stood in the room still smelling Christy perfume and how good she felt as she squeezed past and he knew he had to have her. For the next two weeks Esau watched Christy as she went home. He had watched the apartment and noticed there was a patio door on the rear porch and there were large trees in the small backyard. He made a note that her neighbors generally left for work at six in the morning and Christy usually left the apartment going to the club or to run errands around nine, that would give him plenty of time to fuck her brains out, what Esau didnā€™t know was that he was also being watched. A week after New Yearā€™s Esau was ready, he had smoked some crack, downed a couple pills and had a terrific hard-on, and today was the day. He had watched Cristy house all night and watched the next door neighbors leave with two kids and her other neighbor left their house early that morning. Esau went to the alley behind Christyā€™s house, enter the backyard and crawled to the patio doors. He easily popped the lock on the doors and entered. A CNN news program was on the television and the volume was very loud, he also heard water running in the shower; ā€œgood he thought sheā€™s getting clean for me,ā€ he popped another pill and quietly made his way to the bathroom and saw a silhouette through the shower curtains. Esau half dazed from the drugs and lack of sleep snatched back the shower curtain and saw John Ringoā€™s Glock pointed at his head.

RINGO
Run asshole so I can pop a cap in your ass

Suddenly the room was filled with uniformed police.

INT: SPECIAL CRIMES INTERROGATION ROOM- 15 January 2009
I, Evetta and Monique observed Esau as he sat seemingly unconcerned in the interrogation room. His feet were shackled and one hand was cuffed to a wall chain. He appeared to be looking directly at us and smirking, as we stood behind the one-way mirror.

RINGO
Why do you think he agreed to talk to us?

MONIQUE
Based on his psyche report he has a near genius IQ and he really believes that heā€™s smarter than anyone else, he needs to talk, to show you how much smarter than you he is. Surprisingly, some serial killers want people to know why they committed those horrendous crimes, they want to show how inadequate the police are, my advice, work with him, thanks him for his willingness to cooperate, but remember he is a psychopath and is highly intelligent and will probably try to play mind games with you.
Heā€™s another Ted Bundy or that character in ā€œSilence of the Lambs,ā€ trusts your instincts, youā€™re the best homicide detective in this city, youā€™ll know what to do,ā€ she said offering him a smile of confidence. The little man dark almost hypnotic eyes tracked me as I entered the interrogation room and sat facing him. He was dressed in an orange jumpsuit and wore paper sandals. His feet were shackled with leg irons and his hands were shackled to an iron wall ring. His public defender a young black man who looked right out of law school sat next to him. Esau was handsome; he had smooth skin, dark curly hair and a muscular body. I knew that an interrogation is like a game of chess and I had to have a plan and for every move he made and have a counter move. I also knew I had to establish an immediate rapport with this beast and had to convince him I was sincere. I turned on the tape recorder and dictated the specifics, date, time, place and persons present.

RINGO
You agreed to talk with me without a lawyer why?

ESAU
Why not, I havenā€™t done anything wrong

RINGO
I want you to know how much we- I- appreciate your agreeing to talk with us. Hopefully, we can help each other,ā€ I said looking at the PD.

ESAU
I want to help if I can, I havenā€™t done anything wrong
Ringo slid him an official notification of rights form that he read, signed and slid to him.

RINGO,
You donā€™t consider breaking and entering and killing innocent young women wrong?

ESAU
Depends on your perspective, detective, but I didnā€™t kill anyone

I didnā€™t answer and continued looking at Esau, I hated this man and wished that he wasnā€™t handcuffed to the wall, I wanted him to try something, to try to escape, to give me a reason to kill him to save the state the expense of a trial.

RINGO
You donā€™t think killing an innocent man and a reverend wrong?

ESAU (YAWNING)
Donā€™t know what you talking about

RINGO
What about the other women you killed? The young girl and prostitute in Gary, donā€™t you think the families of these women need closure, six women have been killed and the MO is the same for all six?

ESAU
Well, looks like someone is reading the news reports and acting like a copycat

RINGO
Why, what was your motive?ā€
Esauā€™s thin, colorless lips formed a smile.

ESAU
I donā€™t have a motive, because I didnā€™t kill anyone, but I will tell you this, women, all women are evil, they all need to be released from their sins and Iā€™m glad someone helped them

RINGO
Why are women evil?

ESAU
Women tempt men with their filthy bodies, walking around half nude all the time, I see it all the time, gyrating at the club with their asses hanging out, they are the personification of evil! I believe that women should be pure in heart and body, that they should use their bodies to bring forth life, not cloud the mind of men and young boys wriggling their naked, black asses all around, Iā€™ve seen it, Iā€™ve watched them.

RINGO
Watched them, where?

ESAU (SHOVED HIS HANDS BENEATH THE TABLE AND RUBBED HIS PENIS)
At the club of course and on the street! Everywhere, Iā€™ve watched them; most of them are lonely, frustrated young women who need a good fucking. I watched them as they paraded around the club wearing those tight gym outfits, tempting the men then playing hard to get, they all wanted to be fucked

RINGO
How do you know they were lonely?

ESAU
They are always alone, and who would want to be bothered with their hot infected asses, could I have a cigarette detective, preferably a Kool?ā€

RINGO
I donā€™t smoke but Iā€™ll see if I can get you one

I left the room and joined Evetta and Monique who were watching

EVETTA
Heā€™s one sick sonofabitch, masturbating in front of everyone, Iā€™ll see if anyone got a cigarette, a Kool cigarette

MONIQUE
Heā€™s took out his anger on these women, I would suggest you try to get him to talk about his childhood, especially about his mother

EVETTA (HOLDING A PACKAGE OF SALEM)
Hope the motherfucker get lung cancer

Ringo returned to the interrogation room, gave a cigarette to Esau and lit it. Esua closed his eyes and took a deep pull on the cigarette while he shoved his hands into his crotch and squirmed. A moment later Esau opened his eyes, raised his free hand to his face and removed the cigarette and threw it on the floor but before he could stamping it out, I grabbed it.

ESAU
Thank you detective, for the smoke

RINGO
Tell me about your childhood, Esau you donā€™t mind me calling you Esau do you?

ESAU
Only if I can address you by your first name?

RINGO
Itā€™s John

ESAU
Ok, John, what do you want to know about my childhood

RINGO
Brothers or sisters?

ESAU (SMILING)
Nope, my momā€™s always told me that I was too perfect to have any siblings

RINGO
What about your father

ESAU
Never knew him

RINGO
Mother?

ESAU
A good woman, a saint

RINGO
Iā€™d bet she was a looker, you are a very handsome man

ESAU (SMILING)
Thank you, my mama was a good looking woman, small but shapely, long black hair and dark skinned. Look like one of those African princesses you see in books

RINGO
