/> "Why are you crying Doku? Shouldn't you be happy?"
He looked at me like he just saw a ghost.
"Aki? Are you really alive? I checked your heartbeat and it wasn't beating.
You wern't breathing. So how?" Freash tears rolled down his cheek.
I wiped them away and said,"Doku I don't know how I
survived, but you really shouldn't cry I'm alive and well." I kissed him on the cheek,
"Please don't cry." He only nodded.
"Ok. Doku?"
"Yea?"
Uh, could you put me down?"
"Oh sorry." He sat me up right on the nearest rock. And then I was awaken by Doku.
"Aki wake up. It's time for us to have a meal."
"What? If where dead than how can we eat?"
"I don't know it's like magic." He said with a shrug.
"Oh, ok. Hey Doku?"
"Yes Aki?" He looked to me.
"Do you think we can still talk to each other in our heads
like we did that time you saved me from drowning?" I looked up at him.
"I don't know maybe we should try it." I closed my eye's
and consitrated.
'Doku?' I waited.
'Yes?' It was was not out loud but inside my hesd,
like a second conciets.
I open my eye's and said,
"Doku it works!" I jumped up and hugged him.
"Yea it works." He smiled his calm smile.
"Now when were in trouble we can be in contact." He said.
"Yes." I nodded. "Lets go get our meal."

~****~

We were walking along the east track out of sight.
'Doku what is our meal?' I asked him inside my head.
'Uh I think it's Chi blood.'
'So we have to drink it? I doesn't sound that good.' I replied.
'Well your's tasted good.' I looked up at him and glared.
'That's not funny. It's rather rude, drinking your best friend's blood.'
'But Aki that's the only way to turn you. I must drain you of all your blood than insert some
of mine. Leaves crunched behind us. I turn around to see a flash. First from
Doku than it wnt behind me and everything went black. When I woke.
I was in a cabin. Covered in a red satined dress.
"Hello, Aki. Nice to see you come to."
"Who are you?" I asked
"I am Shujin, Master."
He reached down and brushed my cheek. I flenched.
"Where's Doku?" I asked. Yanking my head sideway's.
"You don't know?"
I shook my head.
"He's my servent, and you are now his..."
I'm his servent? This can't be. Did he know?
Why was I eternally damned? Why?
