still bleeding. "walk away now and you might live." he smiled showing nasty yellow teeth.
i looked at the girl. the terror showed all over her face. something rose up in me. something evil. something that shouldn't even exist. my vision blurred and i took a step forward. i spoke and my voice sounded deeper and multiplied. "Leave now and no one will be hurt." both of their eyes widened but they both stayed.
i growled. and the man stepped back. "w-what the hell? get the fuck out of here devil spawn." he reached his hand up and clutched a cross neckless. i laughed low and rumbly.
words that were not mine came from my mouth. "thats exactly what i am." i crouched down and lunged.
i was screaming in my own head to stop but i couldn't control my body. behind me were flames. and as soon as i made contact with his body i felt my hand go through his stomach.
i felt the wet thickness as my hand went through muscle and skin. as we finally fell against the ground i pulled my hand out clutching something mushy. i looked into his eyes as the spark of life began to fade away. "i hate you, you son of a bitch." as he finished the last word blood started to flow from his mouth. the beast inside me let go of the body and i was in control again.
i tuned toward the girl. her mouth was hung open. i spoke first. "i don't know what happened and i bet neither do you but the forest is on fire and we need to leave." she just nodded.
i bet she was in shock. i bent over grabbed the knife and went over to the girl. i grabbed the girl and threw her over my shoulder.
i ran forward trying to distract myself from the snarling coming from the beast in my head. 'just wait boy, soon i will have full control.' the thing said. i just shook my head. i shook my head and kept running.

Chapter 3:
Thalia

I dreamt i was running, running endlessly down a hall. i was running to no where and from nothing. finally came another hall leading left. a door appeared with large words saying 'Do not enter or you may hate what you see' so like anyone would in a sensible dream, I went in.
Immediately I was in a forest. Raymond was standing rigidly. i looked into his face and regretted it. His eyes became a solid burning blue. His skin turned golden and his nails became sharper.
I quickly turned away and saw a man with a knife. It wasn't the same man as the one in my apartment but a man that needed badly of a bath. He had russet brown hair that was disheveled. His eyes were bottomless black holes. Unheard words passed from his mouth. I turned back to Raymond just as a snarl passes from his lips. I stepped back so that I could see both of them.
The mans eyes widened and he said more words. But all I could hear was the slow chuckle of a voice that was not Raymond's. the voice was echoed and deeper. "Thats exactly what I am." he said.
I ran up to the thing that was Raymond. "Stop, whatever you are whatever your doing, stop!" but the thing went on. It pounced and just went right through me.
I swirled around and found it lying on top of the man elbow deep in the mans stomach. I closed my eyes and ran.
I woke up from the dream shaking with tears on my cheeks. My head hurt so I stood up and went back into the bathroom. I looked at the mirror and saw a thin long bruise along the side of my face. I lightly ran my fingers along the bruise and winced. I pulled out my cell phone and checked the time. 9:46 p.m. I dialed Raymond's number from memory. "Hey, this is Raymond." his voice sent heat to my cheeks. His voice was breathy, sounded like he was carrying something heavy. "Hey Raymond, this is Thalia." I paused remembering my nightmare. I shook my head. The phone was silent for a second. "Oh hey, Thalia, I didn't expect you to call yet, I mean, I thought you were mad at me." his voice sounded irritated. A girls voice came on over the phone "Hey, baby, we need to turn here... right there, thats my house. Then we can have a drink and relax and talk about this whole thing." I felt the jealousy flare through my entire body. I glared at the mirror. Raymond's voice came back on "Thalia, you still there?" my breath caught. "Of course, I should come down and help you get to your destination, Damian's house." I said sweetly into the phone, faking ignorance. "NO!, actually what I meant to say is that you don't have a car and I don't want you to be walking out here at night, very dangerous." his excuse was very sad. "No, I insist I can just borrow my neighbor, Jessica's, car, I'll be there in a jiffy." I smiled at the last word. he heaved a sigh as he gave up.
"Okay Thalia, go to this address. 246 maple drive, idaho. just walk into the house." his voice sounded tired. Imprint
