I like the humble
I like the hurt
I like those who stumble

Khaaamm!

Her Majesty the Fairy Queen

Go on, good man,
Go on
We were just chatting rabbit and I
Don’t bother

Conferencier

Her majesty's presence is more then my humble story
She is the glory
Of all the land and the sky
I'd rather bow low then rattle dry.

Her Majesty the Fairy Queen

hmmmhmmmmhmm

She heard voices in her head
At times it was nice
Having somebody talking in your head
At times it was like a radio
You’d rather put off but could not.
At times what they said
Hurt her or drove her mad

Yet she could see colours
Where none had been
She adapted and showed colours true
Colours not all can see, can you?
As bright as she was able to.

One day she made
A landscape here
A sunset there
Rainbows with raindrops and clouds

She started to delight
In the art thus won
And found some shared
What she had
They could see the sun go down
And the could see a cows pooh
And they enjoyed the game
They enjoyed
The lights
Though her life’s force in truth it was
Yet she learned to show her love
Only the invisible way
A way nobody could blame her for
For they couldn’t see or prove.

Some loved her for that
For it gave them strength
And it made their voices strong
For to the theatre she took a turn
Where music and poetry reign.

At the opera she got known quite soon
Yet they liked her rather well
For whenever she came the lights seem to go
Up a scale or two
And some bowed low before her art
As day by day it improved
And she bowed to them
For out of pain
Her heart had the colours won
And so she shared her pain with them
They helped her to live on
She was thankful and so where they in turn
Though they didn't know her face or her name.
And she ever stayed on her side
In the shade

The pink flamingos

The pink flamingo song
(There’s many and they are chattering away in numbers)

One

Nice to see you

Two

I’m happy too

Three

Wonderful day

Four

So I say, so I say

One

Wonderful sunshine

Two

Friends of mine

Three

With just a small pool

Four

My legs to cool

One

Before you rest

Two

We have a guest

Three

What’s the whirl?

Four

A lovely little girl

One

Come my dear

Two

Do come near

Three

So nice the sun

Four

You are a hon.

One

And so are we

Two

And so are we

Three

And so are we

Four

And so are we

(They chatter on with small voices)

One

The grass is green

Two

I've seen, I've seen

Three

The sky is blue

Four

We all love you

(They repeat those all around)

The Fairy Princess Gladys

Pink flamingos
Of sunny weathers
Flamingos rose
Of sun ruffled feathers
Colour of sunsets
Where rosy dew gets
Like a rose
In my fathers garden

It makes me happy to see you,
Friends on a happy day
Thanks for the kindness
Thanks for the chat

Pink flamingos yawn
Rosy as Japanese cherry leaves
Cleaves the colour of dawn
Chatting on this and on that

Kind and sweet
Gentle they tweet
And chatter the day away
A fish for a dish
Till sleep will leap
Up and all grows quiet
At night

I have to find
A memory
Leave you behind
Unforgotten
You look so bright
With rosy light
Good night, good night
This is your lullaby
Good bye good bye

Flamingos

Good night, good night,
Be bright, be light
Good night, good night

The Fairy Princess Gladys

I’ll see you again it seems
In my dreams,
Good night, good night.

Flamingos

We’re dreams it seems
Good night, good night

Conferencier

Her strength gone long
She wasn't as strong
In body and in soul
The voices grew foul
In her head, in her mind
Where they had been kind.

Her delight was to see
Somebody’s glee
When she showed a thing
A dragon or a snake or a heart
At times she would go down herself
And sit by the one or the other
Not in physical shape
But in thought of course

For an elder woman she remained
When they noticed
Some invited her to come
It was a nice thing to them.

A new sort of friends she won that way
And she learned
To prefer those
Who were happy when she was in the dark
Sending skies and flowers and colours
And flowers she liked to show or birds
Or strange animals moving slow
Yet intoxicating the waltz was a times
And it was her joy to do the sort.

She even did lightning on special days
Or touch the shoulder of some
Though completely invisible they perceived her well
And many felt her pain.
They felt her love
They loved her for it
Though it scared not a little
For it grew strong and at times, mighty as well
And some shrank from it as from a worm.

Strange arts they are
That thus conveyed
And nobody knew
And nobody cared
For she was an elder strange woman after all.

Deep down they trusted and loved her well
Yet in mortal life they shunned
What so deliciously they requested at need
Once had the show begun.
