The hug was long, and I felt myself relaxing further, knots I hadnât been aware of relaxing at her touch, and I silently acknowledged that finally after so many years alone, she would always be there.
I kissed her again, and she grinned at me before getting up and moving out of sight of the main room, crooking her finger at me to join her.
âHow are you feeling?â she whispered, and I kissed her thoroughly before responding.
âBetter!â I said simply.
âAnd the potion that Tang gave you?â she asked.
âGone, worn off⊠I think?â I said, shrugging.
âThereâs an easy way to tell, apparentlyâŠâ She grinned mischievously.
âOh?â I asked, and she told me to sit in the chair. Once I was down, she checked that the others couldnât see, then shifted.
She changed her form to a slimmer, less busty version than usual, with long blonde hair that curled down to touch mid back. White stockings and suspenders and a lacy little bra and panties set did nothing to hide her body, serving only to enhance it.
Iâd felt her emotions as she changed, and I knew that feeling; the mix of naughty, horny, and hopeful that characterized her teasing, but still, I couldnât help but take a long, slow look, smiling widely as I planned all the things I was going to do with her when we had some privacy.
She came to me, clambering onto my lap and straddling me, kissing me deeply, and I let my hands lift, one stroking its way up her leg and settling on her firm ass, the other moving higher, sliding up the front. I flicked back a section of lace, exposing a nipple and leaned down, kissing it, before she shifted again.
This time, she flowed back, shrinking down, and was suddenly dressed again, grinning at me with a mix of elation and sadness that was just weird.
I grunted in shock, reaching out to her, then stood and adjusted myself, my trousers suddenly far too restrictive.
âYouâre cruelâŠâ I whispered, getting a shake of her head in reply.
âApparently, itâs an effect of the âOggâ potion,â she explained, smiling regretfully. âIt makes you unbelievably horny⊠so if youâd been unable to stop, and had jumped on me after that, weâd know that you were still drugged,â she whispered huskily. âItâs made to some secret recipe from a witch up in the mountains.â
âWait, that was a set up?â I asked, half-hurt, half-amused.
âNot entirely; letâs just say that it seemed the most fun way to find out, with the best consequences if you were still under its effects,â she said, grinning.
âWhat, that my team sees me running round with my third leg out?â I asked, feeling a bit of annoyance rising at the thought of the damage that could have done to my image. Sure, the entire god damn ship apparently knew what weâd been up to the other day, and had been able to hear it, moreâs the shame, but stillâŠ
âNo, Iâd have hit you with a heal, donât worry,â she said seriously, flying forward and shifting back to her full size, although dressing far more demurely. âHealing does clear it out, especially the âCleanseâ spell that Nerin taught us. Actually, the âCleansing Fireâ would have done it as well, but when I got to you, you were already meditating, and I thought it was wearing off.â She smiled then, evilly.
âBesides, Iâd been thinking about that form and wanted to see if you liked it, and the outfitâŠ?â
âOh, well, gosh, I wonder if I liked itâŠ?â I said quietly and very sarcastically, gesturing to the tentpole in my trousers. âYou know these pants donât stretch right? And that the chainmail over that section rubs? Or at least, it damn well does when Iâm practically forcing my way through them!â
âIâll make it up to youâŠâ she purred, grinning naughtily and licking her lips. I grinned in response, and we started moving to the far corner of the room so that weâd be out of sight of everyone, just in case⊠when Grizz stuck his head in.
âHey, boss!â he said, grinning. âLooks like youâre awake, and thatâs great timing⊠foodâs ready!â With that, he ducked back out of sight before Oracle or I could get a lightning bolt ready.
âI swear he knowsâŠâ I muttered, shaking my head, as Oracle laughed and stood on her tiptoes to kiss my cheek.
âItâs okay; weâd have gotten caught anyway, and you know it,â she said, grinning unashamedly. âBut, you know, not that it would have stopped meâŠâ With that, she laughed and jumped back before I could grab her, moving for the door.
I swore under my breath and rearranged myself again, thinking calming thoughts for a few seconds before giving up and walking through to sit with the others.
I ignored the looks on Lydia, Miren, and Jianâs faces, and before they could say anything, I spoke up as I plonked myself down on the floor.
âWell, I donât know about you lot, but when that asshole hit me with his âDominateâ spell, it nearly killed me. I donât see how anyone could resist it, so I donât think we need to talk about it again, understand? Nothing you did was your fault.â I reached out and took the dripping meat skewer that Yen passed me, lifting it over the fire, with fat dropping and popping on the flames.
Tang grinned at me shamefacedly, and I winked at him, nodding that we were okay, and he let out a long sigh, straightening up and seeming to relax until Yen elbowed him and glared him down again.
We ate in companionable silence, mostly, the day having been a lot more intense that weâd expected it to get, and once a guard rotation was agreed upon, we all relaxed, confident that with one person on guard over
