them on separate shifts, my king. It might help them with their manners.”

I chuckled at that.

The trio laughed. They were obviously the best of friends.

Aura said, “You were amazing tonight, my king.”

“Not really,” I snorted. They hadn’t seen how Mace, Qrudge, and Skok had gotten the upper hand when my rings went dead, or when that dragon almost killed me. But they’d seen enough to know better. I smirked, “Did you ladies miss the part where Captain Theia had to carry me piggyback through the jungle because my feet aren’t tough enough?”

Aura said, “I was talking about the decon shower.”

I blushed. Actually blushed. And got hard.

“Please, Aura!” Theia gasped and laughed. “Show your king some respect!”

“I wanted to, but you were in the way, Captain. And he never gave me permission to touch his Royal Person,” Aura bit her lower lip and flashed me with heavenly bedroom eyes. “Do I have your permission now, my king? I only need to touch one part…”

Iyse and Kuma laughed.

“Maybe later,” I snorted bashfully.

“Lieutenant Aura,” Theia warned sternly.

“Ma’am?” Aura prompted obediently.

“Keep it respectful. That goes for the rest of you.”

“Yes, ma’am,” Iyse and Kuma chorused.

For a moment, the Titillating Trio flashed me with seductive glances while I bemoaned my sense of loyalty to Oia and the commitment I had made to her. If not for that, me and the trio would have ended up in an orgy.

Iyse said, “My king, do you have any idea how many kings we’ve carried on our backs since before you got here?”

“Oh, no. Not really,” I chuckled.

“Iyse is right,” Kuma said. “You’re the first king we’ve ever had who walked on his on two feet, let alone fought by our side.”

“Really?” I smirked in disbelief.

“Yes, really,” said Aura. “If it wasn’t for you, my king, those Terrorsaurs would’ve killed us tonight. Isn’t that right, Iyse?”

Iyse nodded, “Yep. You saved us, my king.”

“I guess I did,” I grinned. More like my rings had saved them, but my scepter was now doing my thinking for me, and like any symbol of royal office, it was overly swollen with excessive pride.

Captain Theia said firmly, “You did, my king.”

Aura batted her eyelashes at me comically, “How can we ever repay you, my king?”

Iyse and Kuma burst out laughing at her boldness.

“Girls,” Theia rolled her eyes, muttering the word rhetorically under her breath and smiling like an indulgent older sister.

The Titillating Trio didn’t seem to notice.

Kuma said suggestively, “What’s the first thing you would do for him, Iyse?“

“The first thing I would do, or the first thing we should do, Aura?”

Aura said, “The first thing that comes to my mind is… me.”

All three of them broke into blushing giggles.

“Aura is the selfish one, my king,” Kuma added with a sly grin. “I’m not. I prefer to give… from the very first to the very last…”

Again they giggled girlishly, shamelessly tossing out innuendo like Show-Us-Your-Boobs! Beads at Mardi Gras, and dropping hints about being my first like panties at the Playboy Mansion.

Aura said, “Did you mean it earlier when you said you’d put us in your mythie, my king? I’ve always wanted to be in a mythie!”

“Yeah!” Kuma smiled. “I want to be a villainess!”

“I do too!” Iyse added gleefully. “Can I be the lead Conk villainess, my king?! Please?!”

I chuckled, “That was you ladies?”

They nodded in unison, their faces bright with hope.

I grinned, “You ladies want to be in a mythie? With me?”

“Please, please, please!” Iyse begged.

Kuma said, “We’ll do anything to be in your first mythie, my king!”

I had to laugh. Talk about fantasy casting couch. This moment was every movie producer’s wet dream.

“Please, ladies,” Captain Theia laughed in exasperation. “The king has had a difficult night. We all have. Show him the respect he deserves after saving your lives.”

“That’s what we’re trying to do, ma’am,” Aura pouted.

“We are,” Iyse and Kuma giggled in agreement.

“Ladies,” Captain Theia said more forcefully.

“Yes, ma’am,” the trio sighed in unison. Then broke into sexy snickers.

Captain Theia said in a stage whisper that everyone could hear, “They think because they’re injured they can misbehave and I won’t punish them for it later.” She tossed them a warning wink.

“It’s fine,” I grinned and walked over to Theia’s bed. “I didn’t mean to wake you up. I should really go so you can rest.”

“Go where?” Theia asked, sounding slightly worried. “Should I go with you?”

“No. I’m just going to the recovery room down the hall. The one with my friends.” I didn’t tell her I needed to say goodbye to the Bombshells because sadly, I wasn’t the kind of person to break my commitment to be Oia’s first just so I could dive dick-first into an End-of-Life orgy with the Titillating Trio before that dragon killed me tomorrow. I wanted to, but I couldn’t do that to Oia. She was still too injured for sex, so I couldn’t make her my first between now and tomorrow, and that meant no orgy, and I needed to leave Zalaxia, the sooner the better. If I had to go back to living on Earth and struggling to get laid — hopefully by a decent woman who wasn’t out for my money, unlike Ingrid — so be it. Better than betraying Oia’s trust or worming my way out of my word.

And, I needed to say goodbye to Theia at some point. I owed her that. But I wasn’t telling her anything before I told the Bombshells, and I wanted to tell Theia in private, not in front of the Titillating Trio.

Theia smiled, “Oia, Venus, Cygna, and Sirius. You really care about them, don’t you, my king?”

“No more than I do you, Theia,” I smiled back, gazing into her kryptonite eyes, trying to memorize them for when I never saw them again.

Theia reached up from where she lay and grabbed my hand without asking for Royal permission. Her piercing green eyes shimmered warmly. “You’re a good man, my king. A very good man.”

Strangely, it felt like she sensed I was leaving, never to return.
