Aubrey’s shoulder. He licked the wounds. “Again.”

Aubrey had barely had the presence of mind to realize that Seht had bitten him, but he knew damned well that his burning cock was getting hard again in Seht’s cool, stroking palm. “No! Please…!” He knew he was begging and couldn’t care less. His dick hurt!

Seht’s lips brushed his ear. “Aubrey, to whom did you yield?” His hand continued to stroke.

Aubrey moaned and writhed. “You, Syr.” The answer left his lips completely without thought.

Seht ground into him, and the fat knob of his knot at the base of his cock slid into Aubrey’s ass. “And whom do you serve?”

Aubrey twisted under Seht and felt the knot swelling within him painfully tight.

“You, Syr.”

Seht stroked his tongue up Aubrey’s throat. “And how will you serve me?”

This time he knew the answer. He wanted to resist, but his body was too drained to summon up the energy. Tears spilled down Aubrey’s cheeks. “With obedience, Syr.”

“Good, pet.” Seht gripped Aubrey’s hair, arching his throat back. He slammed hard into Aubrey’s body, then again, and again, grunting with each impact.

Aubrey cried out and bucked against him, unable to resist his body’s reflexive reactions.

“Yes…” Seht groaned and ground deep into Aubrey. “Cum.”

Aubrey stiffened. Climax exploded through him in a white-hot firestorm that broke his voice and burned his mind utterly blank.

Something warm and damp slid across his belly and thighs. It felt good. It felt comforting. It felt like…cloth? He could smell soap. Aubrey opened his eyes. His vision swam just a bit. His body was so utterly drained, it actually took him several moments to focus, and a few more to gather the energy to turn his head.

Seht, naked, clean, and gleaming in the fire’s light, leaned over him, rubbing a cloth down his thighs, apparently washing him. His long mane was combed his back into a snug braid that fell down his pale back.

Seht turned and smiled. “Ah, awake?” He sat back on his heels and wiped the back of his hand across his brow. “We were quite a bit of a mess, you and I.”

Aubrey opened his mouth to say something but couldn’t hold two thoughts together long enough to actually find something to say.

Seht reached out and ran his fingers through the hair falling across Aubrey’s brow. “Ah… Your pupils are quite dilated. Feeling relaxed?”

Aubrey still couldn’t find a word to say. He barely had the energy to lean into Seht’s hand.

Seht slid his fingers down and pressed his palm to Aubrey’s cheek. “Finally rendered speechless?”

Aubrey couldn’t care less what Seht was saying. All that really mattered was that Seht was touching him and pleased. It made him smile.

Seht snorted. “It seems so. Good, very good.” He released Aubrey’s cheek and turned away, reaching for something. “Only one more matter to attend to before we leave.” He turned back with the smooth black box in his hands, the one that held the syringe. He opened it and carefully extracted a thin band of plain metal. Superfine electronic pins clustered inside one end.

Aubrey focused on the ring. A chill sweat broke out all over him.

Seht lifted his chin and focused on the cave’s entrance. “It is still raining somewhat. Probably for the best.” He looped the ring over his arm and leaned over Aubrey. “Come on, pet, we need to go outside the cave for this.”

With Seht’s help, Aubrey was able to sit upright, but actually standing on his trembling legs was nearly impossible. Almost as soon as he was on his feet, his knees buckled. He was just too exhausted.

Seht caught him around the chest and chuckled. “I have you.” He half carried, half dragged Aubrey across the fine sand to the cave entrance, then into the chill darkness outside.

Ice-cold drizzle spattered Aubrey’s bare skin. He shivered.

Seht turned Aubrey to face the rain-damp cliff wall. “Go ahead and kneel, pet.”

Aubrey didn’t care that the ground was muddy. He collapsed to his knees gratefully.

Seht knelt behind him. “You’re not going to like this, which is why I waited until I had you completely exhausted.” He lowered the ring before Aubrey’s gaze, then closed it around his throat.

Aubrey stiffened, his entire body sizzling with alarm. A collar. A damned collar! He leaned away. “No.” It came out as a whisper.

“I’m sorry, but this is how it must be.” Seht reached around to press his palm against Aubrey’s brow, holding his head up and still. “You have something embedded just at your hairline. No matter…” With one hard jab, he pressed the pins into the base of Aubrey’s neck.

The pain was swift and sharp. Aubrey took in a deep breath. It was nothing compared to the airlock, but it had cleared some of the fog from his brain. A sudden sweat broke out all over his body. He frowned. What the…?

A blinding power surge went through his internal array. He gasped. His entire body shuddered hard under the assault. From far away, he felt Seht grab his shoulders to keep him from knocking into the cliff face.

The surge spread down his spine. His fingers and toes twitched, and his skin tried to crawl from his bones. He bit his lip to keep from howling. A moan escaped instead.

It stopped.

Soaked in sweat, Aubrey panted, barely keeping himself upright on his knees.

Seht shifted behind him and took Aubrey’s wrists, pulling his hands behind his back. “Just a bit more, pet.” He set his palm back across Aubrey’s forehead and barked out something in a language Aubrey didn’t know.

Lightning blazed through him. He screamed and fought. Seht’s grip was all that kept him from thrashing against the cliff wall.

The lightning stopped.

Aubrey moaned and tears streamed from his eyes. “Son of a bitch… What the hell was that?”

Seht released Aubrey’s head and stroked his palm down Aubrey’s shoulder. “That was the command setting for
