Joe’s Pub when he took me to lunch.

I check myself in the hall mirror one more time, I’m trying to look my best. I have on a soft pink summer halter dress, white sandals, and my hair is up in a clip. I didn’t put on any makeup, he seams to like me better without it. I made Chris clean the house while I cooked. He laughed and said he would tell Justin but I told him to go ahead that I would just say the mess was from his late night visitors. That got him to shut up real fast. The door bell rings, oh my God he’s here! Breathe just breathe, and smile.

“Hey, come on in.” Chris answers the door then steps aside to let him in. That’s when I see him, oh he looks good! Black jeans, a tight dark green t-shirt, and a black leather jacket. He screams bad boy, but I know better.

“Flower” He says almost as a whisper then comes and swipes me into a spinning hug! He sets me down laughing. I hug him tight one more time then let go.

“Lunch is ready, why don’t you go wash up while I set everything out. Chris will show you where you’ll be staying.” I turn to head for the kitchen. I have plated everything already, and kept everything warm in the oven. Once I have everything perfect I tell them to come eat.

“You made all this?” Justin asks.

“Yup, and I have a surprise for dessert.” I bit my lip and sit down to eat. I put Chris at the head of the table and Justin across from me.

“Wow this is incredible, you need to start cooking for us on the bus!” Justin says with a mouth full of food.

“We’ll see.” Is all I can say.

During lunch Justin tells us that the reason he left early was because he couldn’t stand to be that close to John, it still hurts to much. If we had said no, he would have just flown to San Francisco and hung out with some people he knew there. I asked him what the plan was for New York, he said we have a photo shoot, and a live TV interview. This is the interview I have been praying would go away. I have done a few radio interviews but now we are going to be on the Today show. They want me there too, because I will be traveling with the band and all.

“Don’t worry you’ll be fine, we’ll be there to back you up.” Justin smiles over at me.

“I know, it will be okay.” I take a deep breath trying to clear my head. “Okay who is ready for dessert?” I go to get the cake that I have already sliced and plated.

“Oh wow, how did you do this?” Justin asks then dives right in, moaning with pleasure.

“I found a recipe online, I knew you would love it!” I bounce in my seat a little.

“Would someone like to tell me what is so special about this cake?” Chris asks while he enjoys his slice as much as we enjoy ours.

“This is the same dessert we shared when I took her to lunch at Joe’s Pub. That’s where the waiter took a photo of us and it was in the papers the next day.”

“Oh, so that’s why you were up at four in the morning baking.” Chris rats me out, I kick him under the table.

Once lunch is done and the boys cleaned the kitchen up, I ask Justin what he wants to do.

“I don’t care, I’m sure you still have packing to do. I could just hang out and watch TV or something.”

“Well Chris is taking us to dinner tonight, his idea not mine.” I take Justin’s hand and start walking us to my room. “But right now you are going to help me pack.” I giggle as I shut my door, the new one that is. Chris put it in this morning, then added a new lock.

We bought three new suit cases yesterday, two for me and one for Chris. Most of his are still in good condition, mine were about to fall apart. My new large suit case is packed and ready, I’m working on my medium one now. We are going to be over seas for three months so I’m trying to take everything I can with me. My carry on bag will have a few changes of clothes, but it will hold mostly my new computer, my Kindle, all my chargers and some of my cross stitch stuff.

“Do you plan on coming back?” Justin laughs while helping me fold some jeans.

“Yes, but I will need choices. Three months is a long time. It is easier for boys, some will wear the same jeans for three days before changing them. I want to start dressing more girly like. I don’t want the press calling me a tomboy.” The press is one of the reasons I want to dress nicer, Justin is the other reason.

Five hours later I’m all packed, I have laid out an outfit for tomorrow but everything else is ready to go. When I go to look for Chris I find him outside on the back deck, and he is not alone. Tammy is back but she brought two others with her. Justin sees that I’m not happy about this, he takes my hand and gives it a squeeze. We walk up to Chris and the look I’m giving him tells him I’m pissed!

“Chris, what is going on here?” I ask while gripping Justin’s hand.

“OH MY GOD! YOU’RE JUSTIN CROW!” One of the bimbo’s screams. I stand between her and him when she tries to come up to him. Back off bitches! He’s mine!

“Flower, maybe we should go to dinner and let Chris hang out with his friends.” Justin says as he wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me close.

“No, I promised that the three of us would go to dinner
