âLetâs just say the meet ran over,â I chuckle.
âShit, Prez, not a good idea to be fuckinâ with this one,â he grumbles.
âHey, it might not have been the best decision but I donât give a fuck. Itâs done and over with.â I tell him as I hit the throttle and head for home. Ready to be in my own bed at the clubhouse.
âWhat did Boss have to say?â Tracker asks.
As I speed down the road, I relay the details of the cult Bossâ club is dealing with. How they take unmarried women and make an example of them for not saving their virginity for their husbands. âRemember the girls whoâd been on the news not too long ago over in Beckham, Richmond, and Concord area? They might be related to this. This cult might be playing around in our own backyard. I want Nerd to gather as much information on those women as he can, and see if he can find any other reports of women whoâve gone missing with the same MO. Tell him to check anywhere from Blacksburg up to Harrisburg and down toward Williamsburg areas.â
âFuck this club has dealt with enough shit due to cults. Want me to call Twister to see what all he has to say about how they operate? Maybe Hades?â
âCall Hades. He has the most experience with this shit. Iâll be there in about four hours and calling for church,â I tell him before disconnecting the call. He knows me well enough to know what Iâll expect when I get in.
The fact this shit is happening in my own backyard doesnât sit well with me and I know without a doubt itâll only get worse before getting better. Seems to be the way of this fucked up world.
Getting to the clubhouse, Iâm fuckinâ exhausted. As much as Iâd wanted to stop for coffee, I needed to get to the club and fill the rest of my brothers in on what I heard, as well as find out what Nerd found out.
Stretching my legs, I take off my helmet and run my fingers through my hair. Itâs gotten longer than Iâm used to wearing it, preferring to keep it shorter. As I climb off my bike, I strut into the club with the intention of heading straight for church only to come to a stop at the entrance.
What the fuck is going on here? Two of the clubwhores are in the midst of rolling around on the floor fighting.
âSomeone want to explain this shit to me,â I demand, yelling across the main room, gaining everyoneâs attention, including the two whores on the floor.
âStoney,â Cherry Pie yells in excitement as she gets off Summer, who Iâm surprised to see here. Normally, sheâs asleep this time of day since she works at our strip club on the outskirts of town.
âNot now,â I snap as she starts to amble over to me.
âBut I just wanted to welcome you back,â she purrs. Any other time I might take her up on the offer, but right now I ainât got the time for it.
Without giving her the attention she wants from me, I stalk toward the room where we hold church, and pull my cell phone out of my pocket as I go. Unlike Twisterâs clubhouse I havenât rigged this room up with a jammer for our phones and so we leave them in a basket outside of the room.
The rest of my brothers follow suit, taking their places at the table. Once everyone is in their seats, I slam the gavel down on the table. All eyes are on me as I relay the information I learned and glance over at Nerd. âWere you able to find anything?â I ask.
âI think I might have. Over the last year, at least two girls have gone missing from a few of the college campuses and all within months of each other. Now I donât know about you, but that ainât a coincidence if you ask me. But, thatâs not all. There was another report made about a month ago. A stripper over in Lynchburg went missing only to turn up days later in James River by the Heritage Trail,â Nerd says before sliding a file across the table toward me. âYou might want to bring Summer in here for a quick chat with all of us. Last night when she finished her shift, sheâd seemed really spooked but didnât want to talk to anyone until she spoke with you. I donât know whatâs going on with her, but after looking into this shit . . . Iâd like to make sure whatâs bothering her doesnât involve this.â
Nodding, I turn to Blaze, âGrab Summer, letâs see what she has to say. If itâs relevant to this, Iâd prefer to know now instead of later.â
Doesnât take Blaze long to retrieve her. âYou're not to sit in one of these chairs,â Blaze snaps at her.
âIâm sorry,â she squeaks, nearly jumping out of her skin. Immediately, I know something is up âcause that isnât her character. Itâs out of the ordinary for her to be so jumpy. Summerâs always been a bitch to those around her. The only reason anyone keeps her around is because of the money she brings in for the club.
âTell me whatâs going on,â I demand.
âI . . . um . . . I overheard some things during my shift last night at Dollyâs Playhouse,â she says with widening eyes.
âWhat did you hear?â Tracker asks her gently.
âThere were these men, Iâd never seen them before but theyâd been dressed like those people you see going door to door carrying bibles or something like it,â she says.
âYou mean Jehovahâs Witnesses?â Tracker suggests.
âYeah, I suppose thatâs what theyâre called. Anyways, Iâd been doing my rounds when I stopped at their table to offer a lap dance to any of them, but they didnât want it. Told me to
