Destiny pointed Patrick to the dinner-makings she had purchased and he set about making them all a meal. Brandon sat back and enjoyed how their lives were quickly returning to normal.
Well, the new normal.
An hour later, dinner was over and his lovers were doing the dishes. Destiny squeaked and batted Patrick"s hand away when he palmed her breast with one soapy hand, leaving an obvious and tantalizingly see-through handprint behind. He laughed and returned to the dishes, his dimple winking, eyes sparkling. Destiny"s smile was bright as she laughed at him and herself.
They were beautiful. Perfect. And they were his.
He smiled at Destiny when she returned to the work she"d shoved aside. Patrick continued to scrub at the pots and pans, making a racket on the other side of the kitchen.
Reaching across the table, she took his hand and spoke softly. “I"m in love with you.”

His heart squeezed almost painfully in his chest. It was such an acute happiness, he couldn"t help but smile and laugh. The noises of dishes being washed summarily stopped, the faucet still running, forgotten. “Yeah?” Brandon asked. He could see in her eyes just how much she meant it.
“I thought you should know,” she said seriously.
“Thanks.” He gauged the level of his relief at hearing the words. “I guess I needed to.”
“Good,” she said, returning to the papers before her.
He looked over his shoulder and tried really hard not to crack up at Patrick standing agape at the sink, staring at her, quite obviously ready to beg to hear the words.
“Patrick?” Destiny called quietly, still studying her notes as if they were discussing tomorrow"s dinner menu.
“Yes?” he replied quickly, giving away his eager attention.
She winked at Brandon. “I"m moving in.”
Patrick swallowed hard. “Okay.”
“And so is Brandon.”
Patrick looked over at him, the question in his eyes. “Cub?” Could Patrick really doubt it, even it for a moment? “Of course I am.” Patrick smiled and sighed at once. “Great.”
“And Patrick?” Destiny called, pulling his rapt gaze back to her.
“Yes, Kitten?”
“I owe you an apology.”
“You do?” he asked, genuinely perplexed.
“I"m in love with you too. I"m sorry it took me so long to figure that out.” Patrick"s smile would be answer enough for anyone. She looked at Brandon. “And I"m sorry I didn"t jump your bones sooner.”
He grinned back at her. “Me, too.”
“I"m still scared,” she confessed softly.
“That"s okay, baby, we"ll figure it out,” he said gently, squeezing her hand. “Just don"t run.”
She patted his hand with her own. “I said I was still scared, Bran. Not still stupid.
You couldn"t get me to leave you two with four sticks of dynamite and a crowbar.” He believed her.
“Anyway,” Destiny continued, “it"s not like I"m going to leave the raising of our children to the two of you alone. Jesus. They"ll need a woman for some balance. And sanity.”

That pronouncement was met with absolute silence. The only sound in Brandon"s world was the hard beat of his heart. The only sight the small smile on Destiny"s lips.
Brandon looked at Patrick, who stared back wide-eyed.
Love. Home. Children. All his dreams wrapped up in the two people he"d loved since childhood.
His heart thundered with excitement at what they would find together. His eyes roved over familiar, beautiful faces he would spend his life memorizing, though he already knew them better than his own.
Patrick shut off the water and turned back to the table, stopping and raising his eyebrows when he caught Brandon taking in his body, the thick evidence of Patrick"s arousal traced in worn denim.
“What?” Patrick asked, self-consciously.
“I love you.”
Destiny"s hand squeezed his, her smile wide. God, why hadn"t he said it before?
Not yelled it, hidden from it, whispered, dismissed and denied it. But just said it?
Patrick"s smile and the heat in his eyes made the fit of Brandon"s pants a lot less comfortable.
Destiny hummed her appreciation. He turned to her. “I love you too.” Her warm brown eyes twinkled. “I know.”
Movement brought their gazes back to Patrick, who was busy shucking his shirt and tossing it onto the counter. The moment all that broad, muscled chest came into view, more blood pumped into Brandon"s already-hard cock. Fuck, he wanted this man to the point of distraction.
And he could have him. Now. Forever. Whenever the mood struck.
God, how would he ever get used to that? Though, it sure was going to be fun trying.
Patrick sauntered toward the door to the hallway, smiling over his shoulder, his damn dimple winking at them.
“I love you both,” Patrick said as he disappeared around the corner. As soon as he was out of sight, he called back to them, “And the first one to join me in the bedroom gets the best head of their lives.”
Patrick"s laughter echoed in the hallway while Brandon and Destiny leaped to their feet. They reached the kitchen door at the same time and his little minx hip checked him, hard, so that he crashed into the door frame while she slipped ahead.
Laughing, he chased her down the hall as she squealed in delight and charged up the stairs. He seriously considered grabbing one of her ankles, so easy to do as she stayed a few steps ahead of him, but he worried she"d get hurt when she went down, even on the soft carpet. If it had been Patrick, he would have tackled him to the floor, gladly, but while Destiny could give as good as she got, he and Patrick still pulled a few of their punches with her.

Of course, they"d never tell her that unless they wanted to get socked in the nose.
As she hooked an arm around the banister to bang the corner and sprint down the last length of upstairs hall, he kept up his chase, giving her cause for concern, but knowing in his heart that he was letting her win.
Let her have Patrick"s beloved mouth on her sweet pussy.
Brandon had other plans that might be well
