One of the ancients, once said that poetry is "the mirror of the perfect soul." Instead of simply writing down travel notes or, not really thinking about the consequences, expressing your thoughts, memories or on paper, the poetic soul needs to seriously work hard to clothe the perfect content in an even more perfect poetic form.
On our website we can observe huge selection of electronic books for free. The registration in this electronic library isn’t required. Your e-library is always online with you. Reading ebooks on our website will help to be aware of bestsellers , without even leaving home.

What is poetry?

Reading books RomanceThe unity of form and content is what distinguishes poetry from other areas of creativity. However, this is precisely what titanic work implies.
Not every citizen can become a poet. If almost every one of us, at different times, under the influence of certain reasons or trends, was engaged in writing his thoughts, then it is unlikely that the vast majority will be able to admit to themselves that they are a poet.
Genre of poetry touches such strings in the human soul, the existence of which a person either didn’t suspect, or lowered them to the very bottom, intending to give them delight.

There are poets whose work, without exaggeration, belongs to the treasures of human thought and rightly is a world heritage. In our electronic library you will find a wide variety of poetry.
Opening a new collection of poems, the reader thus discovers a new world, a new thought, a new form. Rereading the classics, a person receives a magnificent aesthetic pleasure, which doesn’t disappear with the slamming of the book, but accompanies him for a very long time like a Muse. And it isn’t at all necessary to be a poet in order for the Muse to visit you. It is enough to pick up a volume, inside of which is Poetry. Be with us on our website.

keeping me awake.
When I am relaxed I always have friend.
Then why when I cry, I find no one beside me?

Cry

Tonight I cry.
Not just for myself,
but for all those people who are not happy.
For the children who suffer.

For the widow who cannot find joy.
I cry for all the couples who have lost the love.
I cry for all the families with a missing piece to their puzzle.
But mostly,
I cry for the people who are
scared,lost,and confused,
For I, am one of them.

Greed

Stolen goods.
Wealthy liars.
No one cares,
they are buyers.
They feed their souls
with money and things.
They may find love,
but pathetic swings.
Want what others have
as their own.
But when they receive,
not enough for their greed.

pain

Pain so sharp
Tearing through flesh
To the heart at the core.
Brutal, and broken
weak and fragile
from many false loves.
Make your eyes grow wet
Knees grow weak
till you overflow
barrier behind your eyes break
and the flood begins.
Let the water flow
let it clear your head.
Its always okay to cry.

Rain

Drip drop of rain
spattering on my head
making my head hurt
and the day look down
everyone I see wears a frown
the sky is crying
like I am inside
the clouds cover the sun
like the fog in my heart
but hopefully after every rain
is a rainbow.

Death
Death’s Peaceful Kisses
A life taken in careful hands
of a creature dressed in black.
Glancing at the measure of life,
the sand blown away in the wind.
Your time has come he says.
Don’t be scared of me child.
I shall bring you to your past
the ones you’ve lost will rise
The ones you leave will meet their demise
When in the ground beside your mound
their hearts and souls will rest
and in your arms they'll live.

Scream
Lie down and take the beating
with life’s steel hand of pain.
Swallow all your sadness
and never cry again.
Take in the breath of death and savor
your last moments for this child must rest.
Laugh into the face of evil
the hideous face of satan.
Tie your hands behind your heart
bound in webs of sin.
Seep into the madhouse
question that your sain.
Hide your eyes behind the mask
Let it out
and scream…

I'm sorry
It’s cold here
I’m drowning
Sinking farther
Reaching
For anything
For help
Crying
It hurts
Its stabbing me
Dangerous lies
Toxic words
Ripping
My heart
My hopes
My soul
I can’t
Tell you
Not everything
Would pull
Everything I loved
To pieces
I’m sorry
To you
To everyone

Do You Care?
Don't hate me when I tell you this.
Don't fear me when you learn the truth.
Don't think i am lieing please, i could never lie to you.
Don't scream at me with filthy words. I know you've been hurt before.
Don't walk away before i can explain.
Don't take my chance to tell you more.
Don't cry, i love you mom and dad.
Don't hide your face, i am proud of it.
Don't shut the door and block me out.
Don't leave me here alone.
Don't care about the cuts on my arms
Don't see the rope i tied.
Don't wonder if you could of changed my mind before i died.
Don't look to the heavens to talk to me, your god would not let me in.
Don't turn to the devil either, even he can't handle your sins.

Other

Sky

Blanket over the earth,
endless blue.
Ocean filled with cotton balls.
Water so sweet and true.
Can hold the strongest things
in its gentle mists
Like rain, tornados, and hail.
gentle with winds that caress
your cheek and hair.
Holds beauty that lights up our world.
Moon, stars and gods eye.
But humanity, yes us
is ruining it.
With factories and cars.

Two voice poem

-1st Person, *2nd Person
-Books stay in my heart forever.
*People last very little, disappear.
-Books show me what I want
-i wish i had
-want so bad.
*People are temporary,
*Friends last never.
-Books feed my imagination,
-nothing is impossible,
-escape from life.
*People hurt me with words sharp as needles
-Books taste like magic,
-unstoppable,
-yet changeable.
*People stab your heart
*strong, loving and caring.
*But leave one day,
*maybe years, months, weeks
*but it will end,
*leaving a hole in your heart.
*Never to be filled,
*Never to mend.
-One day though, maybe forgotten
-Books are easy,
-predictable.
*People...
*One word,
*A thousand meanings.
-Books...
-A thousand words,
-one meaning.

What to do

What to say when you run out of words,
Where to go when your feet stop moving,
What to love when your heart stops beating,
What to think when your brain gets fried,
What to hold when your arms stop reaching,
What to see when your eyes go blind,
What to hear when you stop listening,
What to whisper when you stop to breath,
What to do when your life gets thrown of track.

Sickness.

Sickness is like a pack of wolves
silent and unseeable until it attacks,
gripping your body
piercing you with a thousand knifes.
But unlike a pack of wolves,
Whose attack is fierce and quick.
Sickness grabs the body in its jaws,
and seems to last a lifetime.
Wrapping you in a blanket of despair.
But it melts away eventually,
Then once again you breathe easy,
unlike a wolf attack,
where you never breathe again.

Facebook

Pictures from life,
videos that make you laugh.
Talking to friends from far away,
family, friends, even people you hate.
Post whatever you want,
but be careful.
Unseeable eyes could be watching,
Facebook is unpredictable.

Mountain Dew

Condensation runs down your side,
like sweat from the summer heat,
But it just shows how cool you are,
a sweet waterfall of green liquid
running down my throat to quench my thirst.

Tick-Tock

I watch the clock tick slowly
slower
mocking me evilly.
Letting me know school isn't over
yet.
Finally, the second hand reaches the twelve.
The bell rings.
Every jumps up and shouts.
Its over.
School
over.
Teacher reminds us
See you all tomorrow.

Sounds of Poetry

There are poems in people’s heads,
No one will ever hear.
They are just words,
Turning and churning around.
Made only for the sound,
To make a gloomy day brighter,
A smile appear on ones lips.
I have poems in my head that
I finally learned how to spell out.
Magic on paper,
Sounds in pencil.

Breathless

Eyes sparkling
Reflecting the sun and stars
Alight with laughter
Voice humming
Songs softly to the heart
Singing words that bring memories.
Mind buzzing
Wondering, thinking
Carefully linking.
Soft hands
Cupped gently to bear
To give and to hold.
Light lips
Speaking beautiful words
Waves of sound.
Beating heart
Lovely and alive
Starts when we start
Ends when we end.

Scritch, scratch

I hear it
The beautiful sound of pencil on paper.
Of words being spilled.
Of thoughts getting fleash
Of life being written.
Writers
Lovers of flowing scribbles
Artists in their own way.

You in My Eyes.
Eyes sparkling, alight with laughter, reflecting the sun and stars.
Soft hands cupped gently to bear what is given, to take and to hold.
Beating heart lovely and alive, starts when we start, dies when we die.

Dissapointment
Pain so sharp it tears through flesh and bone, reaching the heart at the core.
Shredding all hope and happiness, all signs of reviving your strength.
Torn to pieces like paper falling to the ground, a dream stepped on.

Happiness
Happiness is the sound of friends and joy, a babies laughter.
Greed is the thirst for something more, money and popularity.
Why is the price for what you want, always something you love?

Lonelyness
Darkness in the back of the mind, a haze of red in the eyes.
Thirst to unbearable it burns, fogging the mind dangerously.
You can hear the thumping of their hearts, beating teasingly close.

Look
Look at the stars
With all of their beauty
Showereing Earth with their joy.
Lights bursing
                Eyes Shining
                             Love Glowing
Loved ones watch so crystal clear
Angels wings beat with
The beating of our hearts.
Cloaked in black like candies.
Yet they shine on with thier beauty
Look at the stars.

See With More Then Your Eyes

Open up your heart.
Let the world in.
Sing out and
dance with beautiful ribbons.
Flowing with many colors
Cloaked in fabrics.
