as soon as you step on stage there's a blur
a white flash of your life
chained together like criminals
guilty until proven innocent
yes they will sentence you
def is only a mere name
creative to one's thoughts
a 1,000 ways to die
and still criminals seem to get caught
the philosophy of def
finishes as soon as you press start

the buried life

i wake up buried in
sweat and tears
a vioce of laughter
now defined by fear
something close to my heart
that pronounced my fate
i think of life as a verb
leading me on my way
with drawing my eyes
from the world
silently in vain
deturred by love -hate and pain
fed up with the insiduous decay
of what still remains
of the buried life

Competing with love

her mind is the melody
to the beat in my heart
seconds without her makes the beat restart
her love is like an orchestra
playing for mozart
the rhythm to her love
keeps pushing our souls apart
me and love are both competing for her heart
he's the bunny i'm the turtle
startung off with a slow start
he's the aids in her body killing her cells off
i'm the silent injection
i'm the medicine prescribed by her physician
and he's nothing but trouble and affection
i'm the pill of intoxication
her immune system pleads for more
i'm the leech draining her love away
and love has been defeated he's now walking out the door Imprint
