It hurts.
It's like you pushed me in the fire and i got burnt.
Text you night and day.
I listened to the words you had to say.
I've never felt this much pain before.
My thoughts are running galore.
Love makes the heart grow fonder.
Yet my heart and mind still wander.
I really wanted this to last.
But i'm afraid it's gonna end up as the past.
I remember the night we met.
Our voice harmonized like a duet.
Afraid tonights gonna be the night everything falls apart.
Although i know you'll always be in my heart.
The drugs are changing you inside and out.
I know everything you're about.
Love you forever.
And let go of you? Never.
I wrote this originaly when I was a Sophmore in high school. my teacher took me aside after class, handed me my A paper. No plus I thought? She said you get a plus when you get it published. She handed me a printout to where to sen it. Publish yeah right... She told me my writing was mature for my age and this was perfect that it would defianetly get published. To this day I remember flying with colors through those advanced english classes wishing they had been harder, more of a challenge.. But I give thanks to MRs. Linda Tatum who gave me self Esteem when I really needed it during trying times...
