Helena's just seventeen and she has paranoia schizophrenia, a mental disorder where she thinks that Them are out to get her and her secrets. They've gotten to her once, but now they've gotten to her again and have gotten further than last time. She's put in a mental asylum, which she thinks is actually hospital, and meets a guy who can probably help her, but he's not allowed to be around her because he's not trained to deal with 'people like her'.
Helena is practically devastated when she finds this out and fights to see him again. She wants to get better and he wants the same for her, but Helena can't do it without him.
How will the two manage to be together without anyone getting in the way?
Exactly what the title says. It's a diary of a suicidal girl. Read it. You might get a peek into someone's head. At least, mine. Btw, yeah, my name is ridiculous. It's a fake name. Yes, the person who wrote this is suicidal. By the time you figure out what the real name of me is, I might be dead. I'd sure love to be dead. It's soooo much better than life.
My name is Alice life isn't a wonderland it is hell, my best friend is Dylan I love him, but I can't be with him. Adam is a monster if I make one mistake with him I will be dead.
No demons are in hell they're here on earth out destroy us all. If I die I want to die with Dylan. Even if I die by his hands, that is the best way to go.
"I tried to move to let him know that I wasn’t comfortable and he just clenched even tighter. I felt my face pressed against the floor and I was actually starting to have trouble breathing..."
The "Joteria Chronicles" are a series of vignettes reflecting real life sessions during the time I spent as a Counselor for LGBT Youth and Adults.
