wonders” (verse 6). It will take about three-and-a-half years before the “fulfilment of these wonders” will happen.)

12. “Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
(It will take another 45 days (1 335-1 290) before the final triumph will happen.)

13. “But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.”
(These words are spoken to Daniel: in verses 4, 9, and 13, Daniel is told to “shut up the words, and seal the book” and to “go your way until the end”; there is a strong statement that the end is not accomplished by the actions of a human being, but by God alone. This verse 13 also reminds us of verse 2: the words “arise to your inheritance” do not refer to resurrection or to going to heaven, but to inheriting the earth.)

Daniel 12, the last chapter of Daniel, with its references to “everlasting abhorrence” (verse 2), “the wicked shall do wickedly” (verse 10), and “the abomination of desolation” (verse 11), can be compared with what Jeremiah 8: 1-3 tells us when he denounces the digging up the graves by the “evil family”:

1. At that time, saith the LORD, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves;
2. and they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped; they shall not be gathered, nor be buried, they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.
3. And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue that remain of this evil family, that remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts.

The “wicked” referred to by Daniel and the “evil family” by Jeremiah are part of their prophecy of what will happen before “the fulfilment of these wonders” (Daniel 12:6). I do not believe that this is what is referred to by Christians as the “Antichrist”: the wicked evil family precede the coming of the Messiah.

In one of my comments above I asked the question, “Is this what is happening now?” People in today’s life are walking away from the God of Creation. I myself almost walked away from the Original God, because of all the lies and deception in our world. The wars that carry on in our world today: are they not part of what was prophesied? The only time that we will have peace is when we all relent and believe in the One GOD; if we change from our evil ways and return to God the Creator, He will then turn us back from all the disaster that is in the world today.

My mother said that God is going to punish people for what they do: they say that they can perform miracles; they are trying to create humans; they use God’s name in vain. I knew that my Mother believed that God is God and Jesus is Jesus, but she was misinformed by the Catholic Church, and I followed her beliefs. You may say that you are not a Catholic, but all Christians have been influenced by the Catholic Church.
On one occasion I was very disturbed when I saw a sign that said a piece of land was “Sold to God”. Does not all land belong to God the Creator?

Now let us read Zechariah Chapter 5, in which Zechariah sees two visions: the first is a vision of a roll flying down from heaven, “twenty cubits” (thirty feet) long and “ten cubits” (fifteen feet) wide (verses 1-4); and the second vision in verses 5-11 is of a barrel with a leaden lid.
1 Then again I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and behold a flying roll.
2 And he said unto me: “What seest thou?” And I answered: “I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.”
3 Then said he unto me: “This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole land; for every one that stealeth shall be swept away on the one side like it; and every one that sweareth shall be swept away on the other side like it.
4 “I cause it to go forth,” saith the LORD of hosts, “and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by My name; and it shall abide in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.”
(In this first vision of “a flying roll” the angel who is speaking to Zechariah says that the roll will sweep away “every one that stealeth” and “every one that sweareth falsely”. I interpret this as anyone who steals God’s name and anyone who swears falsely by his Name.)
5 Then the angel that spoke with me went forth, and said unto me: “Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.”
6 And I said: “What is it?” And he said: “This is the measure that goeth forth.” He said moreover: “This is their eye in all the land.”
(The second vision that Zechariah has is of “the measure that goeth forth”. The word “measure” has been translated as a “basket” or “barrel”. The words “their eye in all the land” suggest that the “measure” (or “basket” or “barrel”) is the “eye” that watches all that happens in all of the land.)
7 And, behold, there was lifted up a round piece of lead – and this is a woman sitting in the midst of the measure.
8 And he said: “This is Wickedness.” And he cast her down into the midst of the measure, and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.
(Inside the “measure” (or basket or barrel is a woman, who is identified as “Wickedness”. The Hebrew word for wickedness is feminine, and perhaps that is why it is a woman in the measure. The angel “cast the weight of lead upon the mouth” of the measure to keep her as a prisoner in the measure. Wickedness in all its forms needs to “go forth”, i.e. go away. I interpret “wickedness” as denying the one and only God and turning to another God.)
9 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there came forth two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork; and they lifted up the measure between the earth and the heaven.
(Wickedness is a woman, and it is interesting that two other women take Wickedness away.)
10 Then said I to the angel that spoke with me: “Whither do these bear the measure?”
11 And he said unto me: “To build her a house in the land of Shinar; and when it is prepared, she shall be set there in her own place.”
(The “land of Shinar” is Babylon: see Genesis 11:2. Wickedness is being banished from the Jewish faith after many years of going against God’s word.)

Isaiah 44:1-9 should give you good enough reason to see that Jesus was not the Messiah or Servant:
1. Yet hear now, O Jacob My servant, and Israel whom I have chosen.
2. Thus says the Lord who made you and formed you from the womb, who will help you: “Fear not, O Jacob my servant; and you Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.
(“Jeshurun” means “Upright One” and refers to Israel.)
3. “For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants.
(The Lord will pour His Spirit on the descendants of Jacob, which included Israel, the person,)
4. “They shall spring up among the grass like willows by the water courses.
5. “One will say, ‘I am the Lord's’; another will call himself by the name of Jacob; another will write with his hand, ‘The Lord's’; and name himself by the name of Israel.”
Jesus you call the King of the Jews, Jesus of Nazareth.
6. Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: “I am the First and I am the Last; and beside Me there is no God.
(There is no other God, and no other saviour than “the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts”. Yet Christians call Jesus God and Saviour, and Jesus said, “I am He.”)
7. “And who can proclaim as I do? Then let him declare and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people. And the things that are coming and shall come, let them show these to them.
8. “Do not fear, nor be afraid; have I not told you from that time, and declared it? You are my witnesses, Is there a God besides me? Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one.
(Why do Christians try to change what God says and to argue with Him? There is no other God, “no other Rock”, and God does not know one.)
9. “Those who make an image, all of them are useless, and their precious things shall not profit; they are their own witnesses; they neither see nor know, that they may be ashamed.”
(Christians make images (statues, paintings, photographs, crosses, etc). As the Lord says, “all of them are useless”, and they should “be ashamed”.)

Let us go back to the Book of Daniel, this time to Chapter 9:23-27. Daniel has just prayed, confessing the sins of the past and asking for the renewal of Jerusalem, and now the angel Gabriel answers his prayer:

23 “At the beginning of thy supplications a word went forth, and I am come to declare it; for thou art greatly beloved; therefore look into the word, and understand the vision.
(We can assume that God’s “word went forth” and that now Gabriel is telling Daniel the “word” or answer to his prayer. Daniel (and we, the readers) are asked to “look into the word, and understand the vision”.)
24 “Seventy weeks are decreed upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sin, and to forgive iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal vision and prophet, and to anoint the most holy place.
25 “Know therefore and discern, that from the going forth of the word to restore and to build Jerusalem unto one anointed, a prince, shall be seven weeks; and for threescore and two weeks, it shall be built again, with broad place and moat, but in troublous times.
(The “one anointed, a prince” is not Jesus, but one who will “restore and … build Jerusalem … in troublous times”. Some scholars think these words refer to Onias III, a high priest who is mentioned in 2 Maccabees, which is not a book of the Torah.)
26 “And after the threescore and two weeks shall an anointed one be cut off, and be no more; and the people of a prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; but his end shall be with a flood; and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
(The “anointed one” will “be cut off, and be no more”. (Onias III was murdered.) The people who will destroy Jerusalem after the anointed one has been cut off are the “people of a prince”, who will come to “destroy the city and the sanctuary”.)
27 “And he shall make a firm covenant with many for one week; and for half of the week he shall cause the
