Chapter 4

I got home and went to the shower. I kept rewinding what happened between Dustin and I. He seemed so compassionate. I got dressed up wearing a black shirt, milliatary jacket, converse, and skinny jeans. I put my hair in a ponytail, concealed my scars, and left for school.

I got to school and headed into first period. As the day passed on, at lunch I saw Dustin and smiled at him but he turned away from me, said something to his friend Klien and they started laughing. I turned away. I wonder what happened to our encounter this morning. Suddenly Cassey came to me and pulled me to her table. Then August stode up, looked me in the eye and said,"I know that its only been 4 weeks of school and we dont relly know eachother but I want to know you more." Oh oh where was this heading? August contiued,"Rylan Rose Garton, will you be my gitlfriend?

I gasped and looked up at him, his eyes were sincere, I looked around and saw everyone smiling except Dustin. He looked pissed.
