! Without thinking, I sliced the knife on my peachy tan skin, very low. I winced with pain and felt warm blood trickling from my arm. I waited, standing there for 5 minutes, and finally decided I've lost enough blood and cleaned my arm with a paper towel. I did this one more time, and after 5 minutes I put on my sweater and walked back to my study session like nothing even happened.

Chapter 4

I've decided that I would start to cut myself two times a week. I felt good being able to let all of my pain literally pour out of my skin. I didn't tell Dylin. She would totally freak. I only cut myself on Monday's because I get back to hell, school, and on Friday's because of all the pain I end up getting. I still love him, Alek, but OBVIOUSLY he doesn't love me back.


I went to the bus stop on Monday morning, with my arms covered with my purple and blue, fuzzy, winter sweater. With Alek there, I just sat on the curb. I wanted to kiss him, yet slap him at the same time. I knew what I had to do... I would... I would- ask him to sit next to me on the bus. I walked up to him and tapped his perfect shoulder. "Hahaha yea- Oh Hi Allyson?" Look at him. So.... stupid, yet perfect. I rolled my eyes and continued what I came for. "My name is Bella first of all, and do- do you want to sit next to me on the bus?" "Uh No" he answered quickly. "Geez harsh much?" "Huh?" "Nothing" and I walked away.


On the bus, I looked for a seat in the back. I took the one that I sat with Daniel on Friday. Quietlly, I took a seat alone in the back and watched as Daniel walked with Alek onto the bus. I sighed quietly and looked at my arms. Maybe I can cut three times a week... Twice Monday and once Friday? Or, maybe Twice everyday? I've been through enough pain and now I'm stupid enough to ask him to sit next to me? You've got to be kidding me. If Alek was going to sit with a girl it would be his girlfriend Sidney.

I went back to the real world when I felt someone sit next to me. It was Alek. He smiled a perfect smile and his white teeth shined bright.


Well, today at school wasn't so bad. Alek broke up with Sidney and now I have a study partner. When we got to my house, Alek wanted to see my room. I said "Uhh okayy I know you've had lots of girlfriends but I'm just a GIRL FRIEND not GIRLFRIEND Alek" "Oh.. Uh I don't really know what to say about that" I just nodded and laughed. Just then,the worst thought occored to me. Lisa was home!
