into his and lightly kissed the back of it.  "Nice to meet you Mademoiselle."

"Hi," I shyly responded, feeling the almost immediet heat rush to my cheeks.  "It's Sabrina actually."

"Ah, but you perfer Mademoiselle.  Am I right?"

I bit my lip.  "Well, it's quite the nick-name for my first day,"  He chuckled, making more heat rush to my cheeks.  "but it's whatever is most comfortable for you."

"Well, actually, I kinda like-"

"Henry, drop it!"  Marc jabbed him in the hip.  "So sorry he's bothering you.  He's a little...special."

"Hey!" He shoved Marc.  "I am not.  Just...different."

"Normal is boring..." I mumbled, trying to keep my voice un-heard.

"What was that?"  Ashton leaned down to hear me better.

"Nothing,"

"Alright class.  Let's treat Sabrina with warm welcomes and nice things to say."  Mrs. Hendrick was now pacing over to grab a basket of sketch-books.  "I would like you to do a collage of things that represent you."  She paused looking around, examining everyone.  "Appropriate things!"

The class erupted into laughter, giggles, and gossip about something a certain person once put in their artwork.

"Got me?"  Everyone agreed and then she passed the sketch-books out.

"So, what intrests you?"

"Huh, oh."  I turned to Ashton.  His face captivated me, pulling me into another trance.  "Music..."  Tearing my head away from his gaze for a pencil was about all the time I go before his eyes were boring into the side of my face again.

"What kind of music?"  I shrugged and then hummed in response.  "Rap, pop, latin..."

"Any time of music really.  It's just something that intrests me...that's all."

"Ah.  Well-"

"Ashton, do you think that I should get soemone to draw me a picture of a highlander for me?  'Cause I don't know what a highlander is..."

His face was literally priceless.  I couldn't help but laugh.

"You're a cheerleader.  We have a mascot."  He chuckled, causing my ears to ring.  Almost as if I were trying to hear it again.

"It's not funny.  I was just thinking that maybe someone who's good at drawing could help me."

"Okay..." His voice practically dripping with venemous sarcasm.

---------

"So, do you ride a bus or-"

Honk honk!

"That's actually my ride right there..." I chuckled, causing him to smile widely.

"Well it was nice getting to know you.  I'll see you tomorrow."  Ashton reached down, planning to wrap his arms around my waist, but I backed away.

"Yeah, see you tomorrow."  Quickly, I re-adjusted my bag over my shoulder and then began to fastly walk to my mom awaiting in the car.

"Well it was nice getting to know you.  I'll see you tomorrow."

Now's your chance.  Hug her!

I leant down and attempted to wrap my hands around her waist, but she backed away.  Practically saying

No.

"Yeah, see you tomorrow."  She adjusted her bag and then began to practically jog over to her car.

I waved, trying to cool the redness that was gathering at the bottom of my neck.  How could she reject me like that.  I mean I know that we just met, and her not letting me hug her isn't really a big deal, but it had never hurt this much being rejected.

God, somethings wrong with me.

Weird

-Sabrina's P.O.V.-

"So honey," my mom started.

"Yes?" I asked.
