was going to apologize but then I heard her voice as she said hi in response, I think it was the way she said it with the obvious look of annoyance made me want to continue bothering her to get the same result.

I continued driving alongside her after asking if she needed a ride and getting rejected. I could tell that I was just pissing her of more and when we finally got to school I told her to wait while I parked the car. When I went back to where I left her she was gone. I wondered where she went when I realized that since she was a new student she would have to go to the front office first.

Rushing to the front office I could already see through the door that Mrs. Patel was handing the new girl her schedule. Like with some of the other things I had done today I didn’t know why I did it. I rushed into the room and said in a voice on the verge of being yelling, “If she needs someone to show her around I can do it!” She was still looking at Mrs. Patel but I could still see that she was shaking her head, I realized that I was kinda disappointed by this but then our receptionist said that that would be wonderful.

I was talking to Mrs. Patel asking her for our late passes and if I could possibly have her schedule, I know that may sound creepy but I wanted to talk to her and it's kinda hard to do that if she up and disappears like earlier. After receiving the late passes and her schedule I turned to tell her we could go when I noticed she was gone, I quickly said bye and rushed to get the new girl.

Luckily I didn't have to look too far for she was only now turning the first corner. “Hey, where do you think you’re going?”I say hoping maybe she’ll pause long enough for me to get her. I guess luck wasn’t on my side because as soon as I was done speaking she started running, I rushed after her thanking football practice for keeping me fit. Dang, she’s fast, I mentally groaned, seeing as I was having a hard time catching up to her. Right before she turned another corner I tried grabbing her arm but with all my running I didn't have enough time to slow down and instead ended up tackling her.

I pull her up and when she turns around I say, “I’m Jake. You might want this.” She looks down seeing the late pass I’m holding. Then a thought comes to me, I don’t know her name so maybe I could use the pass to get it. So when she tries to grab it I put it behind my back, “First I want to know your name.” She glares at me while I think I finally managed to get somewhere when all of a sudden I feel the other pass leave my pocket then see her dash into the class we’re next to. I guess I do have some luck, I think seeing as the class she just went in happens to be my first period.

I walked in and handed in my late pass to the teacher. Turning I saw her sitting in one of the seats, I also saw that there was an empty seat behind her. I started to walk towards her direction when she started looking around. I could tell she was looking to see if there were any other seats available but I guess this was a full class seeing the panic in her eyes when she saw the seat behind her. I sat down, leaned forward and said, “Well beautiful, I guess we have the same class.”

Before I could say anything else the teacher started to introduce himself and announced that he would be taking attendance. Yes, this is my chance to learn her name.
