shouldn't have agreed on the first place.

"Earth, you came!" My friend runs into direction with a wide smile on his lips. "Ya, unfortunately." Jay grins, sitting down next to me before swinging his arms on my shoulder. "Hey, don't say that. You'll have a lot of fun today, I promise you."

I take a glance at my friend who's still grinning to both ears, the smell of alcohol finding its way into my nose. "I don't think that's going to happen, but you're free to try your luck."

He tightens his arms on my shoulder. "First of all, alcohol. You have to get drunk."

A chuckle leaving my lips, I free myself from his arms on my shoulders, resting my back against the couchframe with an amused sigh. "Not going to happen. You guys have fun getting drunk, I have my phone."

"Absolutely not. At least stay by our side," he says, a cocky grin decorating his face as he stands up, grabbing me by the arm. Before I even have the chance to utter a a single word I'm dragged through a crowd of people. The scent of sweat getting heavier, and laughter filling my head. I look around me watching how people are swinging their bodies to the loud (way too loud) music that's liting up the entire house, and suddenly I feel so distant again. Why? Biting my lips, I drift my eyes to Jay's hand which is still on my arm as we finally stop walking. He takes his hand from my arm, my eyes shooting up.

"Oh, you really came," Khai says, his body leaned against the fridge, a cup in his hand. Instead of replying, I decide to stay mute, glancing at the rest of my friends who don't even seem to mind my presence. Jay is already busy talking with Noah about something he did yesterday and Simon, Kit and Tham ogle behind girls, trying to talk to them (unsuccessfully as it seems like).

"When did you get here?" I drift my eyes back to Khai, who's now leading the cup in his hand to his mouth, taking a sip. "Uhm, I don't know, half an hour ago, I think. I looked for you guys, but it's too crowded here."

"Oh.. yeah. Sorry about that. I thought you were kidding when you sent that text. But I'm glad you came," he replies, taking another sip from his cup. I throw a quick smile his way before fishing my phone out of the pockets of my jeans. Is it just me or was that conversation awkward as fuck? No, maybe I'm just reading too much into it.

"By the way, did you hear the news, Earth?" Noah suddenly says, his hand finding its way through his hair in order to free his face from the curls covering his eyes like jet black curtains. Looking up from my phone, I reply "What news?"

Noah takes a glance in Khai's direction before leaning closer to me. "Khai's girlfriend broke up with him." My eyes widening, my eyes drift back to Khai, who's looking into the crowd of people as if he's looking for someone. Could it be her?  "Why?"

"I don't know. She just came up to him and said she doesn't want to see him anymore and you know how Khai is, he just let her go and didn't say anything. But it seems to affect him a lot." I mean the fact that he's affected by it is completely understandable. He was dating that girl for almost 2 years now. That's definitely not a short period of time. Poor Khai.

I drift my eyes back to the spot where Khai was just now, but he's nowhere to be seen."Noah, where is Khai?" Confused Noah drifts his eyes to the same spot before a sudden loud scream halls through the music. What the fuck.

"Oh god."

Alarmed my friends start to run towards the scream, me trailing right behind them. What the fuck is going on?

"Stop, you're going to kill him!" Someone shouts as my eyes widens at the scene in front of me. Khai's laying on the ground as someone's fist meets his face. When the fuck did this happen and most importantly why?

"Stop or I'm going to call the police!" Jay suddenly screams, getting closer to the scene. The boy stops beating him up, glancing at Jay with a blank expression on his face. Now that I can see him better I notice his bleeding lip. Khai must have hit him, too?

"What the fuck are you doing here, Jun?" Jun ? Jay knows this guy? That guy, Jun, glances at Khai who's still on the floor before making his way through the crowd to the exit.

That's definitely not what I expected to be happen tonight.
