Andy’s father belched at looked at Bryce, “Yeah, and I’m gonna hurt you to if you don’t let my daughter go! She’s my daughter I will do as I please to her.” He argued. Andy just stood there watching as tension built between the two.
Bryce refused to let go, but her father was not the patient type. He pushed Bryce onto the pavement stepping to his neck, “Don’t get involved in something you can’t prevent boy.” He said then left grabbing me by the wrist practically breaking it. “Get off me!!! I’m sick of this! LET ME GO!” She yelled out digging at his hand.
They were still in public walking down the road to her house, “HELP! HELP ME! SOMEONE PLEASE! HELP ME!!!” She yelled the loudest she could, a man walked out of the bar and looked at him dragging her off while she’s in tears. “Hey! Man let go of the lady!” The man yelled running after them. Her Father looked back at him and stopped. The man ran up to her father looking at him straight in the eyes, “Let the lady go.. She doesn’t want you near her!” He demanded.
“No!” Her father began to argue.. “Help me.” Andy pleaded almost in tears. Her father looked down at her and back handed her, “Shut up bitch!” A tear fell down her cheek. The man could tell she was in pain, and he hit her father starting a fight. He let her go and she ran off to go find Bryce. She found Bryce over on the other side of the road still coughing.
“Bryce I am so sorry… We should go I don’t know who’s winning.” She told him grabbing his hand.
“It’s not your fault your dad is a dick… but what do you mean.. who’s winning?” Bryce questioned.
“A man from the bar heard me screaming and came to help… Lets go to the police.” She said. After making it to the police station and telling them about what had happened. They found her father and locked him up.
~Few Years Later~
Bryce and Andy just bought a house and got married a couple months ago. They were living happy lives and Andrew would call the police to check up on her father every once and awhile.
One mourning she called in to check on him… and they told her he was released on bail a few days ago. For a week she lived in terror and fright that he was coming to get her. She turned on the news to find out that he had died of an over dose of drugs and alcohol. She never even went to his funeral. Imprint
