Rain by Roxanne "Rain" . (best large ereader .txt) 📖

"Rain where are you going?!" a voice yelled. i made my way to the edge and looked over, and saw Parker running after Rain. She was running with floods of tears in her eyes. Parker, looked out of breathe. Where was she running to?

My strength slowly began to come back, i immediately started to run towards the stairs to see her. 

"Rain" Parker yelled again, but she just ignored him. I ran out of breathe i guess my strength wasn't all there. My legs ached but i kept on going my feet tearing up the ground behind me.

I reached the top of the stairs and stopped; wiping the sweat off my forehead. I never knew i would sweat that much. I started to sprint down the stairs, skipping a few, jumping down trying to make it quicker. Eventually i got to the bottom, managing to stumble down the final few steps.

There she was tears in her eyes, running as she was running from something; being chased by demons. I stood there, breathing really heavily, smiling at her.

She started to slow down, kind of tripping up over her dress like it was getting in the way. She held her head down as she slowly began to slow down. Was she out of breathe. Parker still ran behind. He must of found her outside. Glad hes gotten to know her already i hope. Soon Rain fell to her knees, she was breathing heavily. 

Wouldn't you if you was running like that..

She began to wipe her face with her hands. Wiping away the tears that streamed down her cheeks. She soon started to stand up, catching her breath. She look directly at me, standing at the entrance of the stairs. Parker, just managed to catch up to Rain. He stood there, slightly bent over with his hands on his knees breathing heavily.

"Alex.." Rain began to mumble, tears started to flood her eyes again. 

"Alex.." she repeated. Wiping her eyes, soon she began to run towards me. Leaping into my arms, hugging me. 

I just stoop there, holding her. Her cries soon became louder, muffling into my shirt. 

"It's okay" i hushed her, she squeezed me tighter.  

"I'm soo sorry" Rain mumbled into my chest. 

"It's okay Rain" i smiled, placing one of my hands on her head.

Parker looked at me and smiled. I nodded at him, he knew what i meant. He knew about Rain for a while. I used to tell him stories of our adventures.

I began to stroke her hair, while she hugged me. Her breathing was heavy, while she cried into my chest mumbling "I'm sorry"...
