These nine stories are first and foremost autobiographical. They are also true. In the early 1970's my parents decided to leave England in search of a more interesting life; fueled by a lifetime of adventure stories my father was desperate to see the world, to experience adventure and to see what little remained of real cultures before the bland cookie-cutter culture of the United States finally took hold.
For the next forty years my parents remained overseas choosing to live in some of the harshest environments and I was fortunate enough to be taken along.
We were not explorers, nor were my parents interested in being 'the first' at anything; but what spurred them on, what kept them going into their retirement, was the desire to not just simply visit distant lands, but to live there, to try as best they could to experience the daily lives of the people they lived amongst.
The stories in this small book are a snap shot of some of the things we saw and experienced. They are in chronological order starting in the early 70's in the Middle East and ending in 2006 in the Pamir mountains.
The City of Jakarta is often described as the "Big Durian," by visitors astonished by the shear size, and the diversity of its people.
Inside the "City of Dreams," are a collection of true stories that may amaze, amuse or simply confuse you.
Tales of a megacity on the move- the people who survive in this City, and those who choose to remain in an often very surreal World.
People whose everyday lives and dreams are often overlooked- who do make up the true heart of the city called Jakarta.

N.C Private All- boys -High School is one of the richest school in Seoul and filled with rough men only.Until the Director deiced also to enroll also girls into the school. Since this school was ruled by the five guys, Minhyun, Aron, J.R, Baekho and Ren, who are also the Successor of the five big Company in Seoul, no one dared to break their rules -NO GIRLS- Expect of Jang Jae a pure heart 16 years old girls who sucks in study. At first no one, accept her as normal student until she meat the 5 rulers of the School who also got called Wolves. But they want just get out of her. Especially Aron. Everything get worse, when she have to stay also in the Boy doom. But something is strange, want they really get her out or just play with her?
